The Sunhill Portico hotel and its staff are perfect. From the time you enter the gates to the time you leave there is nothing to fault. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. The room comfortable with everything one needs. The complimentary breakfast, prepared by a properly trained chef , offers Indian and Continental followed by an array of pastries that melt in your mouth. The Sunhill Portico is equal to a top hotel anywhere in the world. Congratulations! we will be staying again on our way back from Darjeeling.

The hotel is very luxurious, occidental style. It has an amazing restaurant and pretty & comfy rooms. The taxi service is also very good. They gift you a glass of juice when you arrive and they even took care of our bags for a week free of charge before we checked in while we were doing a trek in the Himalaya. Breakfast is good and varied, and very stylish interiors. An oasis in the caos of Siliguri! Really reccomend!

My stay was average. The room was manageable and fairly clean, but certain areas could use improvement. The basic amenities were available, though the service response was a bit slow at times. Overall acceptable for a short stay, but there is room for enhancement.
