It’s clean, cozy, warm - and I mean also that the clothes dry out very quickly, which is a good thing, since the weather is so unpredictable on a daily basis. The owners are kind, nice, welcoming. There is free coffee and tea available, they clean the room every 3 days of your stay. The room is just as seen on the photos. Would highly recommend if you can’t find anything around Vík.

Cozy and beautiful. Full of details, quiet and with a beautiful landscape, gives you a incredible experience. The breakfast is also really nice and tasteful. The staff is amazing, all the time helpful, always available to help and guide.

This hostel is made in the building of a former old school. That makes it look like a cool and creative maze with beautiful staircase, spacious social area and cozy rooms. Staff is amazing and fun, caring and friendly people who offered free handmade cake to all the guests. It was a delight to stay in Paradise Cave. The kitchen is big and has everything you need to cook decent meals, and also there is a nice waterfall view from the window. Shared bathroom is spacious and clean. Room was comfy and had neat decorations. The spirit of the place is all friendly and youthful, was very refreshing mentally :)

The view from the hotel was amazing. There is a beautiful mountain behind it. The towel and sheets were very cool. The room was little bit small but it was enough for us. There are two dogs, they were so kind and smart.

We used our own bath towels.

We used our own bath towels. The directions for filling hot tub with fresh hot water were easy to follow. Buy food in town on the way as grocery store is about 45 min away. We rode at the stable next door farm 2 days. The cottage was a great home base for sightseeing and also has a beautiful hike along the canyon in back.
