Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm. The hotel handled the situation very amenably. Good food in the hotel and also at the café and village shop in Breiddalsvik itself, which is about 5 km away. Fantastic scenery all round. Motor museum and brewery in the village with the opportunity to go for horse rides directly from the hotel.

This is yet another former school, remodelled into a hotel.
We arrived towards the end of dinner service, however, we still managed to get hot dinner at this hotel, which we consider luck.
Very friendly and polite staff.
The room was fine, we've got the one towards the rear end of the hotel, thus super calm (we were able to sleep with open windows without any noise from the outside).
Breakfast was rather standard, but sufficient to set one up for a day.

Beautiful decorated wood and metal rooms. Good restaurant on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice and big living room to cheel out at night. The atmosphere in this hotel was the best.
The village was lovely and the hotel was cute and cosy. We had the family room which was really big and comfortable. It had more beds than we needed! The beds were big and comfortable.

Excellent Lodging - Beautiful views. I left an iPad at the property and they were able to have it sent and delivered to my hotel in Reykjavik. Peaceful setting.
