The location and views from the property were amazing. The big windows in the main living area were great for watching sunrise and sunset and it was good to be further away from the main road. The kitchen seemed new and it was great to have a proper oven with four hobs rather than just two hobs that we’d had in other properties. The property was very clean. We wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night as the location was so good. The posh hotel across the road served the most amazing hot chocolate.

It's right across the street from where the Glacier adventures tours start. The host was very nice, the house was warm and super clean (we liked the "no shoes" rule in the kitchen and the room), the kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were comfortable.

Everything! I remember with a smile the meeting with the host girl, the woman most smiling of whole Iceland with big humor!

Spacious comfortable room. Good hotel. Relatively close for glacier excursions near diamond beach. Easily accessible. Enough parking. Helpful and friendly staff. It’s a big complex with a lot of rooms, but we liked the (family friendly) vibe around the complex and in the halls to the rooms.

Vagnsstadir Guesthouse offers accommodation in Borgarhöfn. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. The guesthouse has pet horses living on site. Jökulsárlón is just a 20-minute drive away.

Great location, easy self check in process and very nice rooms with your own personal toilets and showers. Breakfast is great. I’d highly recommend staying here. The hotel up the road (7kms) is great for dinner.
