We love that the apartments were 7km away from Main Road 1. You enter a vast lava rock field you can feel the loneliness of Iceland and realize you really are in the Polar Artic Circle!! The hotel was located a bit further from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur and is a very nice, clean and cosy place! We spent the evening playing board games at the bar, our rooms were clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was very good! The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if I get the chance! :-)
