unfortunately the staff (not Icelandic) were like absent, not a smile, not a word, seemed quite pissed off at their working place. pity because the place is fantastic and the owner is extremely gentle. I would put an hair dryer in the room. we didn’t have one

Best experience ever. What a wonderful pearl. We had the northern lights above the apartment. The house was fully equiped, warm and more than clean. And the host gave us and our daugther a tour through the stable. Full of information and storys about the horses and her family. In the night she texted us, that the northern lights had arrived. What a truly, warm experience.

The location is great. The room itself is very cozy, the bed is super comfortable. Bathroom is beautiful and well equipped and the warm shower was so nice after a cold and rainy day. There is also a radiator that heats up the room very quickly. There are a small fridge and a kettle as well. It was very peaceful, the sound isolation is great. It was a wonderful start of our journey, I would gladly come back!

The Greenhouse hotel has 7 restaurants and a bar in its food hall, Icelandic designer stores, Icecream and a local food market.

Loved staying here, we were only here for a night but it was the perfect spot for our stay. Really lovely staff, the rooms were far better than expected & the whole vibe was amazing! Really cute store in the reception too. I'd highly recommend staying here!

The staff were super helpful, especially for helping us to see the Northern Lights - which we did! The room was warm with heated floors, lots of coffee/tea/hot chocolate available and a hot tub! The breakfast was delicious too!
