Modern, stylish boutique hotel with top notch service down to the smallest detail. Staff is friendly, warm and helpful. They bend over backwards to make your stay amazing. Great location with a convenient ferry right outside the hotel. Highly recommend.

The suites themselves are spacious, beautifully designed, and oriented to make the most of that stunning lakeside scenery. A standout feature was the breakfast service, available until 11:00 AM. The staff would bring a fresh, delicious meal straight to our suite, then discreetly return later to clear away the table—allowing us to savor our morning in total comfort. This level of personalized service truly underscored how dedicated the team is to making every guest feel pampered. The spa facilities were equally impressive. Between the calming atmosphere, modern amenities, and a variety of rejuvenating treatments, it was easy to spend hours unwinding and recharging. Whether you’re taking a quick dip in the pool or enjoying a moment in the sauna, you’re never far from those spectacular lake views. Overall, Aria Retreat & Spa is an idyllic escape for anyone looking to relax far from the bright lights and bustle of city life. First of all, our host was an amazing and lovely lady. Rita is the proprietor of the hotel and made us feel very welcome. Due to the terrible weather Italia was having at this time, there was actually a landslide that damaged the railway. Rita ensured that we were able to get to Varenna, and also assisted us with our departure. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely on a hot day. Castello di Vizeo is a very pleasant two or three minutes walk away. The Castle is not to be missed and affords amazing views over Lake Como. Rita also cooked for us both evenings and we had nice meals. We will really consider staying here again in the future!

The setting at the edge of the water was beautiful. Our balcony, just a few meters from the lake. All the amenities in the room were there. What was really a stand out for us was the incredible staff, especially Jéssica, Stefano in the restaurant where we had very nice options available to us (BTW, he makes the best cappuccinos ever) and at the reception desk as well Orietta. We have already recommended Hoel Meridiana to others, and if we ever go back to Lake Como, we would not consider staying any other place!

Athmosphere in general was excellent. Great view of Como lake, rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel has the top quality in many aspects, hotel staff were helpful and professional, the restaurant is very good for fine dining with a great view.
