This was a beautiful little apartment, very well located in a quiet street, but near the main attractions. Lots of nice touches. Bed, pillows and mattress were very comfortable. Super friendly, helpful, host. Nice for a short stay in beautiful Citta Della Pieve.

We had a lovely welcome from Katia, who speaks great English and was always helpful. The hotel is a charming building, with just a few rooms and a very personal welcome. The bed and room was very comfortable, we had a balcony with a view out to the hills. The breakfast featured home made cakes. The walled town of Citta is a short walk away and has very well cared for ancient buildings with history, art, some great restaurants and independent shops (and not too many tourists). The location is close to the beautiful Lake Trasimeno and its attractive towns and boat trips

    A beautiful walled city/town right on the Tuscany/ Umbrian border. Excellent location to access key areas of Tuscany and Umbria. Busy little town with good food and fantastic views over the Tuscan and Umbrian countryside. Tourists disappear at 5pm and the locals come out. Hotel has great food at reasonable prices with private (free) parking. DO NOT BRING A BIG CAR if you want to stay off the central streets inside the city walls! The entrances through the walls and some of the streets are VERY narrow with VERY limited parking.

    This is a pristine, extremely well preserved, maintained, and restored medieval hill town with a strong and dedicated local community. Despite its small size Citta della Pieve champions the arts and culture (art classes, library, performances). There is clearly money here. Every facade and street is immaculate. The people are happy. Really Italian happy. There is zero crime. the restaurants, cafes and bars are better than cities 10x its size, yet the prices are low. Views and countryside are pristine. Access is excellent just off the A1.

    We loved the friendliness of the locals during passeggiata, the quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness of the town. It was the perfect short break in a beautiful Italian small town! We ate pizza at 320 Gradi one night (delicious!) and had breakfast at our accommodation (also delicious and lots of variety). We were particularly impressed by one staff member at Caffe' degli artisti who offered to mix us up a cooling beverage on a very hot afternoon - what he concocted perfectly hit the spot as did his attitude! It was also well placed for visiting other towns in the area - Panicale, Castiglione del Lago, Chuisi, Cortona, Arezzo.

    We stayed here as a family of 5 plus another couple. The accommodation was perfect for our group!! Beautiful decor, super clean with lovely views over the olive grove! The host was very friendly and even took us down to visit the chickens where the kids could have a hold. The welcome wine/ treats were a nice surprise too!Great value for money and in an amazing location, only a 5 minute drive into the nearby village (which is stunning, great shops/restaurants)! We only stayed 1 x night but wished we stayed longer!!!

    Beautiful apartment perfect for couples or family. Attention to detail and design. Great kitchen facilities. Just fabulous for relaxing and enjoying the town. We really didn't want to leave! Excellent location and I think good value for money considering we were there during the Palio/festa. Our host was lovely and super easy to communicate with. 10/10

    A beautiful, charming and almost perfectly clean B&B with a good restaurant (especially the "dolci" are very tasty) and all this with a beautiful view, in the picturesque medieval village of Città delle Pieve on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. However, there are some minor negatives. (my score: 8.5/10)

    Really lovely, beautiful building, reasonably priced, good restaurant, super friendly and attentive staff, great location in the quiet but beautiful Citta dela Pieve, excellent for exploring Tuscany and Umbria (you will need a car!)
