We stayed in the private top floor apartment which also had a terrace and a balcony with brilliant views of the lake Como and surroundings. Staff were friendly and responded immediately to help when we faced any issues.

Everything was amazing! Stefano is very friendly and hospitable person. Everything was clean and fresh, beautiful views from the balcony (mountains and lake), amazing breakfast and dinner! We are happy that we've chosen Stefano's place - we were looking for authentic Italian small city and we found it! Thank you for an amazing week! <3

Wonderful place in a picturesque village with magnificent view of the lake. Nice surprise is Michaela's fluent Czech language, wow! We arrived really late in the night but it was not problem to accommodate even in the middle of the night, Michaela was really helpful and welcoming. Great breakfast in the morning. I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to dissapear from the rush of the city.

The hotel service was amazing from the time we reached to the time we checked out. Very accommodating and helpful staff. Location was perfect with a beautiful view of the lake! Definitely recommend with a car hire and staying at this lovely location. The hotel owner was very welcoming and we got some lovely local honey as a gift when we checked out.

Absolutely amazing place! The hosts made us feel so welcome, and even cooked us dinner when we arrived as everywhere else had closed! The views off the balcony where breakfast was served were breathtaking and the hosts cooked an outstanding breakfast. Would recommend to anyone!

The place is delightful! The hosts are incredibly organized and easy to reach. Everything we needed was right there in the house, and it was all brand new. Plus, the neighborhood is fantastic for hiking. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

The house is located in a very quiet and small village up a mountain. Basically no cars or noise in the vicinity, and the view is quite nice. The host is super friendly and he made breakfast for us for no additional cost. The room is quite spacious and has a fan in it and the bed is very comfy. A short drive down the mountain there is a wonderful restaurant with tasty food. All in all everything is very atmospheric and it's a nice place to stay at.

    A lovely experience.

    A lovely experience. Off the beaten track so ideal for people looking for peace and quiet but not isolated . Close to a tiny village and to Faggeto Lario and 40 mins to Como and other towns on the lake. Good for solo travellers and families. Up on the hill and not walking distance from Lake. 10 mins by car from Lakeshore. Host very accomodating.

    Faggeto Lario, 15 minutes by car from Como, is a hillside small town. People are very friendly. The "Giardino Segreto" is a top level accomodation, new and clean. The host was very courteous and present.

    I only stayed for 3 days, enough to make me want to come back, if possible in the summer! The hotel has very good service, both at the reception and in the restaurant! I really liked the gift I received when I left the hotel, I will be very happy to come back!!

    This was an excellent hotel for seeing Lake Como and for just relaxing and letting the boat take the train of driving away. The ferry boat dock is less than five minutes away and you can spend the whole day just exploring the lake by boat

    We enjoyed the stay very much and would definately recommend the stay to other people. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was lovely with a kitchenette and lots of storage space, we had a balcony to sit and have a quiet drink while taking in the beauty of Lake Como. We ate in several places and had a great speedboat trip to view some of the other villages on the lake, Walking was good, the hills were quite steep, so you do what you can and go back. The higher you go the more you see. Don't miss it.

    We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad...

    We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad luck we ended up moving with public transportation with which Faggeto Lario is not impossible, but a bit difficult to reach. There are not too many restaurants (we counted three) and no grocery store. Views are very beautiful though and the ferry ride from Como was also very beautiful. This is a beautiful small village where you can enjoy silence and peace.

    We were impressed by an amazing view from the terrace to Como lake! And could feel an Italian atmosphere inside the house: It's cosy and at the same time one can find everything needed for a comfortable living there. Free parking place nearby and a restaurant with tasty national food. Alessandra is a perfect host - she was kind and gave really nice recommendations on the places to visit near the Como lake. If you desire something memorable on a vacation then Faggeto Lario is the place to go!)

    We loved our stay, particularly the view from the hotel, honestly the best view of the lake we saw during our visit. The breakfast was nice and the dinner served one of the nights was great, fantastic home cooked lasagne. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Finally the charm and tranquillity of the hotel was amazing, you felt like whispering in the gardens. It was a valued break from the busy tourist towns.

    Super clean, equipped with everything you might need, and has a beautiful view. Although it is located in a mountainous area, the hotel owner provides transportation with his own vehicle and drive through narrow streets as if you were on a fun little safari:) there is a private parking area available.
