The location is fantastic — just a short walk from Meta station, which makes exploring Sorrento, Positano, and the Amalfi Coast very convenient. Yet, the property itself feels like a peaceful retreat, tucked away from the busy tourist paths. The beautifully maintained garden is a highlight — full of life, care, and charm. You can clearly feel the love the family has poured into every corner, giving the whole place a unique personality. We stayed in the garden-view room, and having direct access to this little oasis made our mornings and evenings so special. Sitting there with a cup of coffee or just enjoying the quiet atmosphere felt like pure bliss. This isn’t just a place to stay — it’s an experience filled with warmth, hospitality, and personal touches that you won’t find elsewhere. We had a lovely time as a family. Federica provided very helpful information The flat was clean and spacious, with beautiful Italian décor. Perfect location, just a short walk to the beach. A truly wonderful experience for us as a family, and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Exceptional breakfast with fruits freshly collected from the garden and freshly baked croissants with filling of choice. The room was clean and well equipped, water and snacks free of charge. Lovely village.

Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base...

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base to explore the coast. We were able to catch the bus into Sorrento daily (it can be a bit of a wait and not always on schedule), and also connect to Amalfi and Positano via the SITA buses.

Meta is lovely.

Meta is lovely. I would use it more as a base though and tour around. Like Pompeii or Rome which was a short trip. It’s pretty quiet, not much around for a grocery store but the people were some of the loveliest we met throughout our tour through Italy. Bus is decent, hard to get a taxi. Train service excellent. You must try Le Conca restaurant in Meta - we went every day, is what THAT good! https://www.ristorantelaconca.net/ Wifi was spotty throughout, but we were having severe rainstorm while here which impacted where we could go. Sorrento was flooded.

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of...

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of heavy rain quite late. We spent the following staying close to the beach and had lunch at TicoTico (suggested by our host) which was excellent! Meta is a quieter place to stay than Sorrento but we found it easy to get there by bus.

Basically, the beaches were crowded, plus there were nothing to see during snorkeling. So we usually travelled to other places. Unfortunately the public bus transport is pretty bad. No timetable, what google map finds is either out of date or simply not as it expected. We had never known if a scheduled 1-2 bus is coming or not. Total stochastic, and it is pretty bad in the evening. The place itself is nice, but that's all.

We just loved the place; Lisa the owner, the sweet small town of Meta and the apartment. Everything is clean, modern and you have a whole outdoor place for yourself. We were astonished. A small walk to the beach and to great restaurants. And 6 minutes to Sorrento by train if you want to visit. You will live in the middle of an old lovely town with beautiful houses, churches and culture just around the corner. Lisa was the greatest host and helped us with everything we needed. Do not miss this unique place.

This is an incredible place to stay... away from the ultra busy tourist areas, Meta is a beautiful quaint little town just 5 mins on the train from Sorrento its self (there is also a bus every 20 mins). The accommodation was absolutely delightful, incredibly clean and newly refurbished. There was a kitchen available and they provided freshly picked ranges for juicing from the garden. I'd 100% recommend staying here... just not it is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station.

Very cozy, summercottage-like well-equipped apartment with private beautiful garden. It is near Meta train station from which there are good connections to Sorrento, Pompei etc. Yet it was very peaceful and quiet. The host Rossana is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is self service and there was plenty of food including delicious home made cakes. There was great flexibility by the hosts in check in and check out. Mille grazie!

The location was fantastic as we were a stone's throw from the Meta coast, and was able to enjoy the seaside easily. We also were happy to receive parking in an otherwise difficult parking situation, and it was secure. The space was large and had a kettle and TV. The host was very communicative and provided us with a video on how to access the building through the long windy roads of Meta.
