What a magnificent view from this hotel!! The whole panorama of Modica before you - breathtaking both during the day and at night. Super helpful staff. I had booked a standard room but, on arrival, we were given the choice of our chosen room or an upgrade to a superior one at no extra cost. Naturally, we chose the upgrade and enjoyed a much larger room with sofa and chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view from our balcony incredible and, from the hotel's dining room, an even better one, with its expanse of floor to ceiling windows. We were there in April so didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting and well laid out. Reception staff were helpful with restaurant suggestions and also booked a taxi for us to go to Scicli on one of the days. To get into Modica, we chose to walk down - and back again! A LOT of steps but it didn't take long at all. And there's also a very nice restaurant just a short walk from the hotel, along the same road (with the same stunning view). Only slight negative at the hotel, for me, was the aircon; we were there in early April and they don't switch on the cooling function until later in the month. With the minibar right next to the bed putting out some heat, I did find it pretty warm during the night and had to open the balcony door. Bonus of that was hearing owls calling to each other across the town! We would definitely recommend staying here for a truly memorable time.

Great location but we did have some trouble finding it. However the duty manager went out of his way to locate us and direct us to the car parking. The Palazzo is very close to the centro storico.The palazzo is stunning with fabulous decor.. Lovely to have extra room in shared seating area directly outside our room which we largely had to ourselves so like a huge suite and including a lovely outdoor balcony area we made use of. Breakfast plentiful and tasty with lots of lovely home made goodies. Scicli is a nice town, less touristy than its more famous neighbors, Modica and Ragusa.

This place is incredibly tranquil and beautiful. We stayed in a wonderful apartment in the old main building, and it was extremely quiet and comfortable. I was sick throughout the visit, and the staff was extremely gracious and helped my wife get food from the restaurant to bring upstairs for me. By virtue of spending the majority of the visit inside the room, I feel like I experienced the place more fully than most. I cannot think of a place that could be better to recover, or just unplug, than this hotel. The location around is beautiful, the pool is gorgeous, and it's got a great location for all the Baroque Cities. Highly recommended!!!!

Amazing place. So beautiful, calm and soulful. Great place for relax. Very nice and helpful staff. Large room with realy spacy bahroom, nice terace with superb view. Very good breakfast. And here is swiming pool too. And beautiful garden. And dinner here is must - tasty, interesting and with great atmosphere. Cambiocavallo Resort, for sure, is place where to return back again and again.
