It’s so authentic not many tourists and the scenery is breathtaking. It’s a quiet area but so easy to get to all the sites within an hour tops from any direction, the roads are safe and easy access to the highway. The place is gorgeous with plenty of lovely scenery that enhance relaxation. The apartment is clean with all the necessary amenities. The people, Martina and AnnaMaria are extremely helpful and always ready to help when the need arises. Though quiet and surrounded by forests and mountains you are so close to places of interests Tuscany is renowned for. You can be in the hustle and bustle of busy cities like Florence and in an hours time near the pools busking in the sunshine. Great place.Guest review byAlanMalta - 10.0

Motaione lies perfectly in the heart of Tuscany with a small but really nice old town center. It's on top of a hill with a beautiful view all around. Unfortunately, if you go for hiking it's always very steep up or steep down - the same goes, if you rent a regular bicycle. But there is a really good mountain bike rental possibility: http://www.landhill.it/landhill-de/ in the center of Montaione. We paid 45E per E-bike and day. It's really worth to explore the region on the small roads by E-bike :-) There is a supermarked (COOP) in the center and a nice pastry shop.Guest review byRené und UrsiSwitzerland

The pool area and gardens were nicely maintained and there was plenty of space for families. There is also a nice view over the countryside from the garden area, especially for the sunset.
