We had an amazing stay at this charming hotel in Oderzo! The decoration is beautiful and gives the entire place a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. A special mention to the dinners – absolutely outstanding! Very special place, if you want to be close to the city, but to live in a quiet area outside. El Sesterzio is located few hundred meters behind the city border, but still very close to the center. House is quiet and clean. With free of charge parking for gests. Very kind owner will serve you breakfast on terasse with a view to Alps. Greatest mornings I ever had in Italy.

That's the place where you want to come back as soon as possible. Everything there is absolutely perfect! Peaceful atmosphere, spotless clean everywhere, great location (25 drive minutes to reach Venice, 40 minutes to Caorle Adriatic beach and 1:40 to the heart of Dolomites Cortina dAmpezzo), delicious breakfasts (all cakes and candies hand made!), swimming pool and sunbeds to relax, coffee whenever you want and a fridge full of cold prosecco and Peroni... and the most important: best hosts we have ever met: Mara and Mario!!! If you want to visit Northern Italy you must stay at Il Rifugio del Poeta.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel so welcome and truly went above and beyond to make our experience special.
