Ragalna is a small village part of the metropolitan city of Catania. It is south of the etna volcano and about 20km from Etna Refugio Sapienza. It is a very quiet town and has everything you would need, such as supermarkets, Restaurants, vegetable Shops and Salmuneria Shops. We only stayed one night and we wished we could have stayed a couple of days on this beautiful property. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very informative about the local attractions and food we should try. The dinner we had was 5-star, it was prepared with local and seasonal ingredients that the chef prepared just for us. The portions were out of this world and you have to wear stretch pants to finish it all, but it's so worth it. The room was quaint, clean, and comfortable.Guest review byClaudiaGermany - 8.0

Well Ragalna is a a very small town with approx. 4,000 residents so groceries, super markets and restaurants are quite limited. 1 improvement would be clearing the rubbish from the side of the roads but this is not only in Ragalna. It`s a pitty such a beautiful island still has these issues. The location is very good if you`re planning to go ETNA. It`s also a good location to travel to Catania, Giardini Naxos, Taormina , Enna, Acireale and various parks with destinations no longer than 1.5-2hrs to places mentioned above.Guest review byMikielMalta - 8.0
