    Recco is a good base to travel to Genoa and other places.

    Recco is a good base to travel to Genoa and other places. Hotel Restaurant was good but it worth exploring other places as well. Local beach was good, but be aware. We wondered why Italians brought SO MANY dogs to the beach (we then saw a sign saying in Italian "Dog beach". It pays to do your Italian homework

    You can quickly reach Santa Margherita Liguria + Portofino.

    You can quickly reach Santa Margherita Liguria + Portofino. You can visit Cinque Terre quite easily and easily (including allocating around 2 hours to the beach). You can easily visit Genoa. High prices for food and drinks for a small town with a pretty ugly beach.

    The property was in a very good location with easy walking distance to the sea and to local restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was clean and the bathtub was a welcome addition and it’s not something you see often in hotel rooms in Italy! Guido was also kind enough to let us bring our dog when our dog sitter wasn’t available which was obviously out of the ordinary but very kind of him!

    This was a wonderful hotel with great staff and amazing views from our 4th floor balcony. Great value for this accommodation and it was a perfect chill ending to a holiday. Stunning sunsets at Era Oro bar too just minutes away. And if you happen to wake up early, you may catch a sunrise from your room over the mountains.

    ✨ Perfect Stay in Recco! ✨ Super clean, well-equipped, and surprisingly quiet despite being just steps from the town centre. The host was incredibly helpful and lightning-fast with replies. Ideal spot for relaxing or exploring—plus, the focaccia & Pesto pasta nearby is life-changing. Would absolutely stay again!
