This spacious apartment is in a fantastic historic building in the middle of a charming old town. It is great for a family, with plenty of space, two bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. There are pizzerias, bakeries, and cafes nearby. Communication with the hosts was very smooth, and they were quick to reply. Also, the place was very warm. We were afraid that an old Italian house in the winter with subzero temperatures in the night would be cold, but not at all!

The house is fresh and clean, everything is new inside. One separate bedroom with double bed, the other double bed is above the kitchen/living room, loft-style. Safe (automatic car gates and pedestrian entrance), spacious parking inside. The kitchen is fully equipped, except the dish-washer. Stezzano is old and lovely little village, very convenient for exploring Bergamo and surroundings. Don’t miss breakfasts and/or aperitivo at central square, there’s a hidden jewel - tea and coffee and flowers shop ‘Fiori a merenda’! 5 minutes walk from villa, amazing choice of teas and home-made cakes surrounded by vintage furniture and unique atmosphere.

Great location, it was super easy to get to, and also easy to get to nice restaurants in the area. Loved the spacious bathroom and how good the shower-head pressure was. Danielle was great, and let us use the spa even though there were less than 40mins left before they close. The smart locks made our in-outs very easy! Highly recomming the property!

A true boutique hotel with 12 rooms in a central location with excellent service and efficiency. As soon as we arrived, the lady at the reception came to greet us and helped us with our luggage. She was extremely helpful and proactive in organising our plans for our stay (taxi to the airport, timings for breakfast, etc) and showed us to our room and explained everything. She even gave us a luggage scale to weigh our bags for our upcoming wizz air flight. The room itself had everything we needed and was immaculately clean and very quiet on the top floor. Very comfortable bed and an amazing marble shower with three different settings and a door that fully seals so you get a lovely steam effect. Soft towels and the most comfortable bathrobes and slippers. They had also put the radiators on in the bathroom before our arrival (knowing we're from Australia and not used to the cold), which was a kind touch. Lots of complimentary amenities, including individual toiletries and bottled spring water. We also had a skylight in our room, which was nice. The design and decor of the hotel was very tasteful and elegant. There was a lift/elevator too, which is not always a given in Italy. Breakfast was fantastic, and everything was of the highest quality, no pre-packaged supermarket pastries here! The crossiants were heavenly. Included with the cold cuts, pastries, fruits, yogurts, juices, etc. was barista coffee and a hot dish made by the chef. It was so beautifully plated. My only regret was that we had to leave for our flight so we couldn't fully enjoy it. Make sure you make time for breakfast! I don't think I could stay anywhere else in Bergamo after staying at Petronilla. It's worth the extra price compared to Best Western, Mercure, etc. The staff are highly trained and the hotel is very well run. Highly recommend.

Great apartment. Very interesting building. It had everything we could possibly need and more. We only stayed one night as we'd landed at the airport late at night. Easy to find and good amount of free parking. Just what we needed.
