It is very quite where we could really relax. The breakfast was superb, and we had a good selection of homemade food. The pool, the external and interior design was unique. The location is very central, around 20mins walk from the center. The rooms at the side of the parking have a fantastic view and a very big balcony. The room is also quite spacious. Having a parking is also a big plus. The breakfast at the roof top is amazing, quite a good variety. The staff are very nice and polite. I highly recommend this property :)

It is a very picturesque town, and it is easy to visit the top spots. Take a slow walk down the cliff from the town to the beach. The sand is fine and the water is a clear blue. Go up to the monastery and take photos of the coast. Just spend some time walking down the narrow streets and alleyways. We went in the offseason and didn't get a chance to visit Stromboli, the volcanic island. That should be a highlight and something we will do next time.

We loved the choice of beaches and the crystal clear sea, we could see fish swimming within touching distance of us. When its really hot, there is plenty of shady beach areas if wanted. The old town was amazing to see from the beach underneath, the way its been built on the cliff. Good choice of restaurants and bars.

I loved the views and the variety of spots to relax from high up in town to down close to the sea. The wind and cooler temperatures stopped us from entering the water however, as the sea temperature is still quite temperate there were many swimmers early October.

The beaches were amazing. Places we ate that I recommend, That's Amore, great food and lots of ambiance, Diamante Rosso, Pinturicchio has great fish dishes and the best gelato was at Gelati Tonino.

Tropea is a beautiful town and a beautiful beach resort. There was a lovely atmosphere there. Nice restaurants and reasonable priced. While spectacular there are lots of steps between the beach and the town which may not suit some people.

Such and incredible place! It ticks all the boxes: reachable by train/airplane, beautiful village, incredible beach. You can easily reach by boat the Eolian islands or via train Scilla and Reggio Calabria.

Small family run intimate boutique hotel away from the tourist hustle and yet only 8 minutes from central Tropea. Angelo and his sisters are fantastic hosts providing an expansive breakfast and all assistance necessary to find local tours, boat hire, beaches and restaurants. Pool and grounds are a welcome respite after a busy day of touring. Keep it in the family and go to La Pergola restaurant one of the best seafood restaurants in the area with its own parking and only a short walk into Tropea old town.

Great modern apartment right at the heart of Tropea. Nice new facilities with comfortable bed and great air conditioning and great breakfast option included (the best we have had so far in Italy). In addition, incredibly kind host who went the extra mile to help us be reunited with some belongings we left behind (including picking us up from the train station because of how hot it was!). Would definitely stay again.

Room was amazing we drove down from naples and decided to do a pit stop in tropea with 2hours left of journey we managed to book a room. Description said it was a room with a jacuzzi, we assumed it was just a jacuzzi bath little did we know we had a whole spa in our room, with only a 10 min walk to the old town and a 15min walk to the church we had best of both worlds. Also has access to beach straight from hotel.

Our stay at Tropea was a stand out during our 2 week holiday! Not only is the location absolutely perfect, the staff were very helpful and attentive. The breakfast options were some of the best we had in Italy and eating on the rooftop was a lovely way to start the day! We only stayed 1 night here but would highly recommend and we would not think twice about rebooking!
