We missed our designated flight, so my husband and I arrived super late. There was a lovely young lady waiting for us and she promptly called her friends to come and help us with the suitcases. All other staff were asleep. The kitchen was closed but they managed to produce for us a lovely tray of cold cuts and of course, an excellent bottle of wine from their cellar. This type of attention makes one's stays special. The wine tasting was very good, and the dinners we had were excellent. Needless to say, the scenery was spectacular, it is in a wonderful location.

It feels like living in an ancient castle surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The grounds are magical — peaceful and full of historical charm. We loved this place! It's incredibly beautiful, both the castle and the views, the restaurant is nice (especially the risotto), the breakfast is perfect, it is nicely located (a short drive from castles, medieval towns and vineyards in the area). It has a nice pool, rooftop views and we also enjoyed our wine tasting and a beautiful walk through the vineyards.

The locals warm and friendly, the village and surrounding area beautiful, such a peaceful, tranquil place, perfect for relaxation away from hustle and bustle . Easy drive to Sienna twenty minutes away and so much to see and explore in the area and beyond.

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area...

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area if you are looking to visit the small towns and several wine producers. It is also about a 20 minute drive to Gaiole if you are in the area for the Eroica cycling event. I really like the area - the hills are covered with oak forests or vineyards, and on most of the roads you drive through a tunnel of trees and foliage. The excellent wine and natural beauty alone are enough to merit a visit, but on top of that, the area also produced some of the best artists and writers of the renaissance, including Boccaccio, Dante, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci.

    The location of L’Aiolina is simply stunning. You are surrounded by beautiful vineyards and you can admire amazing sunsets from your private viewing decks. It is very close to Siena and picturesque villages of Tuscany. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Cristina has given us lots of advice on what to do and where to eat (great recommendations!) and her husband treated us to some yummy home grown vegetables. We truly loved our stay in L’Aiolina.

    Very beautiful spot with an amazing view. The staff were kind and always willing to help. The restaurant serves good food and excellent wine at reasonable prices. The room was spotless, with a pleasant fragrance and beautiful Tuscan furniture. The bus from Siena stops right at the entrance, literally dropping you off at the door. There’s also a winery within walking distance, which was a wonderful bonus. We had a truly great time!

    Clean, cozy, authentic. Staying at Agriturismo Amina is an experience in itself. Everything is so nice, you are surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, a perfect restaurant just 200 m away and a beautiful pool right there. It is the perfect place to relax and experience Tuscany.
