Petra Castle is an excellent hotel. The rooms are large and the service is excellent. It's located just outside Petra. By car it's only a few minutes away from the city center. The breakfast is a choice of both Jordanian and continental. The same counts for dinner: very good and a variety of Jordanian and 'western' dishes. The staff is excellent: friendly and offers great service. The Jordanian hospitality!

Ayman and his familly were all very welcoming and helpfull. They prepared dinner for us and helped us with all we need. The flat is large, so it can easily accomodate 6 people. We stayed with to kids and they had plenty of space to run around. There is a small bakery next door. Petra visitor centre or the back gate are 10 minutes away by car. Car can be parked in front of the flat.

The hosts provided great hospitality. The atmosphere was very warm. We highly recommend the food served by the owners (do not hesitate to order dinners also - you can experience a lot of local tastes!). Even if it was very cold outside during our stay the air condition worked well and there was hot water in the shower (what isn’t so obvious in Jordan). The house is quite far away from Petra, but it’s not problematic if you have a car.

Friendly staff, their hospitality, we received several useful piece of advice. It was easy to heat the room despite outside temperature was at 4 degrees. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was also good.
