Our stay at Chatrium Niseko was fantastic. Our room was incredible - much larger than expected, stocked with many breakfast supplies to help us start our day off well, with fantastic views of the resort, and the beds were so so comfortable! It felt like a luxury stay. Loved the shuttle in the morning and the ski storage area, and the convenience of being able to return our ski rentals in the hotel. There was a great cafe in the hotel, and we had dinner at Temporada (also within the hotel) and it was so delicious. The staff were also a highlight. They were so friendly and helpful, and they spent so much time helping us ship our luggage to Tokyo! We would highly recommend staying here if in Niseko!

Everything was great! Nice, comfortable rooms with plenty of space. And we could see Mount Yotei from our window :) The breakfast was good with big variety of food. We also enjoyed the dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful and organized perfect transfers for us on check-in and check-out days. We appreciate their care very much! We also were happy to enjoy hot springs located at the hotel premises after active skiing days. Hotel has modern design and everything is made in Japanese style – with the focus on the quality to all small details. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Staff was very nice, the skibus was litterally waiting outside our skilockers!! However, be aware they are very punctual and sometimes leave 1min before scheduled departure! Come at least 5 minutes earlier to be safe. The public transport bus stop is also right in front of the hotel, on the street and if you have a skipass, it is for free. Dinner was okay - not a huge choice but good enough, we didn't eat breakfast there. I would def stay here again. 😊 Many thanks!

A very new hotel. Staff is super helpful. Spacious room with beautiful interiors. There is onsen water coming out of the bathtub water tap. So you could enjoy the view while having a private onsen session in your own room. Located in the Hanazono resort and is within walking distance to the summer gondola, light show, zipline etc. Will definitely visit again!

Kutchan town is not the ski resort.

Kutchan town is not the ski resort. You have to take a 15-30 mins bus or taxi to nearby Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village or Annupuri resort, which makes up the "Niseko United" ski resort. However, the town is a gateway. A few restaurants is around but they are a bit spread out. There's 2 tasty BBQ restaurant 10 minutes walk away. The Kutchan train station is the gateway to/from Otaru and Sapporo. However, the train is a drag. An 1+ hour plus to Otaru and total 2 hours to Sapporo. Same for bus. Public transportation is lacking at night time. Check schedule or prebook taxi is recommended during night hours.

Kutchan is a lovely city with friendly locals and widespread...

Kutchan is a lovely city with friendly locals and widespread English proficiency, making communication easy. There are plenty of options for renting or purchasing snowboard gear, which is convenient for enthusiasts. Overall, I will definitely return to Kutchan.

While the hotel is not right next to any of the lifts or gondolas in Hirafu, it's less than 1km away from Family Chair, and the shuttle service is punctual and convenient. The staff are great, the rooms are adequately sized and have good amenities, the laundry was helpful, and the price was very good.

Love the overall room layout, feel likes home. Spacious and cosy. The hotel has in-house onsen. Outside the hotel has mountain view. The hotel's restaurant that opened during the daytime, the burgers were super delicious.
