New, modern with elegant design, very comfortable, friendly staff, especially our Concierge Yukari, who arranged our transfer to and from Osaka airport, as well as our tour of Kyoto's hidden gems. and chose us restaurants for dinner with outstanding Japanese cuisine and to our surprise classy Japanese wines.Overall this hotel is 5 stars and worth the money.

The service and staff were exceptional. They are English friendly. The facilities (private onsen, relaxation room) and room were clean and relaxing. I really enjoyed the tatami mats and no shoes in the hotel. There were also free sweets, ice pops, noodles, and drinks at certain times throughout the day which were delicious! At check-in, a pamphlet was provided outlining the location of the facilities and times for each service. I had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel - dinner was a fun experience and breakfast had many options.

Our stay at The Blossom Kyoto was amazing! We loved everything — the perfect location, beautiful design, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful details throughout. The room had everything we needed, including elegant and comfortable Japanese clothes for the onsen. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with great local tips and restaurant reservations. Everything was just fine. The room is quite large and well equipped. The train station is just around the corner and Kyoto train/bus station, just 10 minutes walk (or one stop from the Umekoji station) The breakfast is a delight. 😀 A must have!
