Numazu Club was well worth the drive to Numazu just to stay there. I would not think of it as a hotel, nor an onsen, but rather a getaway. The rooms were modern, minimalistic and no small detail was missed. Expect personal interactions with friendly and attentive staff, from being greeted at the gate (car) to being checked in privately in your room. In our case the manager checked us in, as well as coming to check on us and other guests during breakfast and dinner. The breakfast and dinner in the teahouse should not be missed. It was exquisitely prepared and a sensation for all senses, do note that it is Japanese and Chinese fusion. You will be welcomed by locally produced treats and drinks, and definitely ask for turn down service to experience more local products. Our open-air bath added to the already tranquil and quiet atmosphere and I could sit on the balcony soaking up the sun for hours. There is not that much to do around Numazu, but if you like feeling at peace you won’t leave the accommodation anyway. There is a fish market with multiple sushi restaurants less than a 15min walk away, which we enjoyed for lunch.

Very cool accomodation staying in the pods. Be careful what room you book if you have kids. The double story suites may be tricky with little ones. Beds are very comfortable and pods are warm! The food is AMAZING (see important note below!). There is also a delicious curry house about 15 minute walk away.
Staff are really helpful and very approachable. There are many toys and activities available to borrow and a grassy area to play on.we also took advantage of the beautiful nature walks around the accomodation. They also have a lovely gift shop with local wares.
We enjoyed roasting marshmallows after dinner.

The hotel is a three-minute walk from Numazu station (visible from certain rooms). The staff were very informative on check-in and friendly. The hotel also provided lots of amenties, such as different firmness pillows, toothbrushes etc. Additionally, lots of Love Live! Sunshine cutouts and products at the Reception

A little jewel right between Mt Fuji and the pacific.
A little jewel right between Mt Fuji and the pacific. Still quite popular with fans of a certain anime, but I would argue that the town is a lot better than that. Friendly people, cosy neighbourhoods, lively market streets, and a beach that is not only the longest in Japan, but perhaps also the most beautiful. In one view, you can see the pacific, the Japanese alps and Mt Fuji. Add a sunset over the mountains, and you have the view of a lifetime (see photo of a decent example). You can get the train to Numazu, or the Shinkansen to nearby Mishima, and from Numazu you are 1h to Mt Fuji or any of the five lakes, or 30 mins to the onsens of Izu.

We stopped by Numazu to check out the Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium. It was pretty interesting, and there seemed to be a lot of nearby fish markets/seafood stores. There was also a lot of "Love Live! Sunshine" stuff in general around the area, so good for fans of the series.

The views of Mount Fuji were unbeatable, however, it is a track if you are coming from Tokyo city, just plan well and make sure you work out the different connections. Also if you are coming from Tokyo city and stopping at Mishima, do allocate a bit of time there as there is loads to see, do and eat at Mishima.
Once you get to Numazu, if you are like us seeking just relaxation, you probably just end up staying at your Onsen.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! I booked it as a Love Live fan since I saw there were a lot of Aqours goodies displayed prominently. I think that the staff was amazing, the location was very good, and the rooms were nice. They had free laundry services too which was very helpful. The hotel is only a six-minute walk from Numazu Station which made it super easy to take the bus or train around town! I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel is located next to Numazu station and bus station. Nearby malls and so e eateries. Very convenient. Staff speaks broken English but makes his effort to explain to us about the facilities of the hotel. Complimentary breakfast is included. Japanese buffet breakfast is superb. Welcome drinks are also available late noon till night. The tv is super big compared to the room size.
- Great location, only 3-min walk from Numazu Station, very convenient for travelling.
- Modern facilities, clean and tidy, good shampoo and facial foam provided.
- Breakfast is good considering the price, with roasted fish as the main dish.
- Friendly Staff, and some of them can speak English!
- And even a greater place if you are a "Lovelive!" fan!
If you travel Japan by car, then you should definitely stay at this hotel. it’s located near Numazu Interchange(IC) thus easily accessible. The double decker bed was a bit thin if you consider to stay there 3 persons in one room but it was okay. Other than that, anything else was great.
Nice design, friendly atmosphere, location is amazing, I love Heda and the staff of the hotel is incredibly nice !
I really recommand this place especially to have a break from big cities ! And the view of the Fuji is so beautiful ! And last but not least the beach !
The breakfast itself was good.
The tea coffee machine was a mystery to me and it seemed to be to most others including restaurant staff. I fear previous comment could sound somewhat frivolous. In summary I would be most happy stay at this hotel again. Thank you.
Just behind Nemazu Station, easy hotel to explore area from and take the train.
We got a room with Fuji-san view which was nice. Big step up from regular business hotel.
Room was clean and modern for Japanese hotel rooms, the bath was also fairly large.
Location was very convenient to get to, the hotel was quite old but well maintained. We did not get any meals, as it was easy to find food around the area. The room was also relatively spacious for the price you pay.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was cleaned and comfortable. My only complaint is the smell of smoke in my room. The hotel didn’t have non-smoking rooms.
We loved all of the care and thought put into every detail in those beautiful house. We appreciated the video for how to use the key. That made it very easy.
The staff can hardly understand any English, but it is understandable.
There is a big parking lot in front. The hotel itself is quite old but very clean.
The hotel was up in the hill. The road came down to the bay wasn't a road for pedestrians. The hotel was kind and drove us up and down the hill everyday.
