The host is very responsive, replying messages promptly and she speaks very good English so we have zero issues for checking-in ! Alya the host completed the dual pilgrimage and I guess from there she understand the need of travellers. We love the place, feel like home after our long hours of hiking journey. The place is very very clean, bonus is they provide the laundry & drying machines, and provided some snacks for us to eat those are very sweet gestures.

The location is incredible in front of this huge tori. Waking up seeing this is incredible. The house is super confy and we’ll equipped. The little cafe near offers yummy breakfast and you are just walking distance from the sights.

The property was wonderful, beautiful traditional Ryokan, clean rooms, lovely onsen. The staff is polite, nice, and welcoming. They pay attention to small details which I think is really beautiful. Very big and delicious dinner and breakfast. The location is perfect as well, close to the bus station that connects you to other villages and small places.
