It was very cold during our stay, so we didn't walk much.
It was very cold during our stay, so we didn't walk much. We mainly skied.
The infrastructure is well developed, there are shops, saunas, swimming pools and cafes.
The mountains are not very high, but there are many slopes for varied skiing. We use only Mona YongPyong slopes.
Our 16 y.o. son got injured on the slope, the Rescue service worked very quickly and professionally. Bravo!

The hotel was basic, room and bathroom were very small.
The hotel was basic, room and bathroom were very small. The hotel staff were not very helpful in offering information about restaurants and cafes nearby. Spa and sauna are not included in the room price. The hotel is 1.5 km from downtown, so if you prefer to have some restaurant options stay elsewhere. Shuttle bus to/from airport and sky Centers were very useful.

The water park was not very big but it was good enough for...
The water park was not very big but it was good enough for family trip. I don't recommend it to young people who are expecting more exciting attractions. The pool bar was offering only few foods but it was interesting experience to eat and drink in the pool. Couldn't go up to the peak due to the bad weather but I will try getting on the cable car next time.

The entire Phoenix resort was redecorated/overhauled, but the access to the ski slopes could have been organized better (more mats, more snow, more slope entrances) near the Pheonix resort as to carry all of the ski equipment for several tens of meters.

Fantastic skiing slopes close by the hotel/resort location of Phoenix. Good and sufficient outdoor and indoor parking availability. A CU convenient shop in the hotel makes is easy to buy some small food or other necessities. The room view is excellent and a small terras allows some fresh airing. or cloth drying when needed. Sufficient ski equipment rental is available at hand, no need to bring anything. Renting and ticketing (RFID) is easy and convenient. Prices are reasonable for a whole day and evening skiing fun.

We went there during the Youth Winter Olympics. Wonderful place, the friendly host always available and helpful. Everything was warm and clean. It's located a bit outside the town, but within walking distance, about a kilometer. Much more enjoyable than a hotel, and more economic since you can prepare your own meals. Perfect if you travel with kids and need a bit space.

this hotel is perfect location for pyeongchang. The breakfast was excellent and room was comfortable and mine was overlooking the ski slopes which was beautiful. I had a little injury so i went to the hotels medical centre and they were very helpful and gave me some medication.

BTS tour to the In The Soop location was even better than I imagined. Loved the seeing locations from the show! 💜 But I also liked the hotel especially the stunning views form the breakfast cafe. Rooms were spacious, nice showers, and of course loved the BTS gift set!

The room was really big. It is within walking distant to the ski resort.
The free shuttle bus is prompt.
Staff can speak good English which is helpful.
