Nice staff. Super charming building, really authentic, once owned by Queen Elizabeth's accountant. There's a picture of the Queen visiting the place. The hotel has a nice pool and beautiful aesthetics.

What did I like? Everything! The house is so so so beautiful and the staff very helpful, friendly and attentive. Upon request, the host even provided a cooking class for us, which was amazing. Best stay during our whole Sri Lanka trip!

Recommend this hotel strongly - it is a quiet, cozy place with a unique local atmosphere. Personnel was proffesional and friendly, as we arrived late in the evening they arranged for us a delivery from a near by shop, which was lovely. The room was very clean, with a nice and calming view - as we were the only guests that day, we were offered a free room upgrade.

There was a misunderstanding about our room but she fixed it easily 😊 Bed was very comfortable You see elephants in your balcony , location is in heart of pinnawala We took our dinners in hotels restaurant, it was enough and delicious, price is not high

Amazing location on the street where elephants traverse to bathe and you have access to this property from a side street even when the main street is closed till 4pm. Staff was pleasant and uograded me to a private room when the dorms were overbooked. Great views for evening bat migration very pleasant stay overall.

The room was quite spacious, very clean and well equiped. Also the bathroom looks pretty new. You can enjoy some fresh air at the balcony. The location is perfect and just across Elephant Orphenage.
