This is by far the best accommodation we’ve been to in Sri Lanka. Even though some people avoid this area during February as it’s considered low season, we had the best experience. It was quiet, sunny and relaxing. Anna and Nicolo are the best hosts and help out with whatever you need; surfing, safari, transport, etc. Their restaurant has delicious traditional pizza, pasta and more. Besides that, we saw a whole range of wildlife in the area, including free roaming elephants and crocodiles. After 3 nights I decided to extend my stay in Sri Lanka and come back for another full week at Whisky Point. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Beautiful cabana’s in a quiet and well maintained garden at almost a private bay. Great airco, ice cold private fridge in the room and even a fan on the terrace. Incredible friendly staff. Great food - breakfast jaffles and banana pancakes, curries and noodles for dinner and the delicious milkshakes

Very nice, place, about 10 minutes walk from the center of Arugam Bay, but they provide free bicycles, so it’s relatively easy to get there. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is filling enough and they provide free yoga sessions every day and also surfing lessons (cost is similar to that in the city).

Everything was perfect, and as always, everything started and ended with the people. Catherine and Michel are amazing people, with a huge heart and a big smile. Always ready to help, with good advice and help with the surfboards, renting a bike, renting a tuk-tuk or any other matter that makes an ordinary vacation so amazing. Another thing, the hotel staff, smiling, polite and kind. It is clear that the place is so important to them as if it were their own home. The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and this, in my experience, is extremely rare in Sri Lanka. The cabins are cozy, air-conditioned and ventilated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the showers are spacious and partially exposed to the sky and the coconut halves scattered around. Hot water 24/7 is simply magic. The pool is simply amazing, pleasant and clean at all times, spotless. The location - on the pottuvil Point strip and within walking distance of the point itself, which is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Even beginners will enjoy this beach. Even those who do not surf and want to relax will greatly enjoy the special and quiet location. The restaurant is run by a local family and serves varied and delicious food at completely reasonable prices and with meticulous service. You can eat in the restaurant or next to the room. In conclusion, my brother and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and I have no doubt that we will return to this magical place again. Spectacular sized room with enormous comfy bed, desk & comfy beanbag chairs, fridge & coffee/tea making facilities. Then on top a huge bathroom with wonderful shower plus an entire private enclosed garden. Then the pool was amazingly clean & all the staff super friendly & attentive. What's not to love!

Located near the bay, and main street however in quiet area. The facility is new, rooms are nice, bed comfy and bath clean. Outside, there is a patio where you can relax. There was also fridge freezer and small kitchen available. Great place.

The most amazing stay highly recommended!* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at *Doppel Gangs* in Arugam Bay and had the most unforgettable experience. The hotel is in the *perfect location* close enough to the main road (just a 1-minute walk!) to access everything easily, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet without the crowds and noise. The hotel is *by far the cleanest* I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka, with daily housekeeping that keeps everything fresh. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There’s also a *really nice pool*, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the *incredible staff*, especially *Hibed*. We were a group of 8 girls and one boy, and from the moment we arrived, Hibed went *above and beyond* to make us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness were beyond anything we expected. He was always there to help whether it was organizing *tuk tuk rides* at *any time, to any place, with any notice*, fixing a ripped pair of pants with a local seamstress, or surprising us with freshly made yogurt. Every little thing he did added to the magic of our stay. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but I’ve *never* encountered a staff that had such a genuine impact on my overall experience. *Thank you, Doppel Gangs, for an incredible stay. We’ll never forget it.* Can't wait to come back!

Great place for stay relaxing. Beach front property and just 20 steps to the sea. All around many restraurants and bars. Reasonably priced, comfortable and spacious rooms with A/C. The owner and staff were always very helpful and kind. Comfy bed and very clean room and bathroom (toilet paper, soap). Relaxing balcony with hammock. Communication was fentastic. WiFi internet connection was good. Value for the stay!
