During our recent trip to Ella, we had the pleasure of staying at Rawana Mount View and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Sri Lankan hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. The owner and his assistant was really friendly and were incredible hosts. They greeted us with smiles, offered us a refreshing drink, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food at Rawana Mount View is simply delicious! Every meal was bursting with fresh flavors, and we highly recommend trying their traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Breakfast was a highlight—especially the Sri Lankan pancakes and freshly brewed tea. Dinner was a special experience as well, with options that reflect the local culinary heritage. The meals are prepared with love and care, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. One of the highlights of our stay was the local guide, Mr Blum, that the owners introduced us to. He was not only knowledgeable about the area but also extremely passionate. We had a fantastic evening walk to Eagle Rock to watch the sun go down and his insights made the trip so much more enriching. His guidance and stories about his meetings with leopards were highly entertaining. Comfortable Rooms with Hot Showers The rooms at Rawana Mount View are cozy and very comfortable. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The highlight was the hot shower—after hiking through the lush landscapes, it was an absolute treat! The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and provide the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. In conclusion, Rawana Mount View Ella offers an exceptional stay for anyone visiting Ella. Whether you're drawn to the stunning views, the welcoming atmosphere, or the authentic food, this place will exceed your expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with kind-hearted owners and great service, We highly recommend it!

I recently stayed at greenmoret agri tourism home stay in Bandarawela, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful area with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, making it a perfect getaway for those looking to relax in nature. The hotel is situated in a great spot, with easy access to nearby attractions like Mahamewnawa, Ohiya entrance for Horton plains, World's end, Bomburu ella, Ella town, Rawana ella, Adisham bangalow Haputhale, Hakgala botanical garden. It’s an ideal location for anyone looking to explore the area or simply enjoy the serenity of Bandarawela. Highly recommended Greenmoret Agri Tourism Home Stay.

The property was clean, with a beautiful view and a pool! Nice bathrooms and good beds! The staff was incredibly helpful to provide us information on our day trips to Ella and Haputale, especially a big thanks to Maheshi! In the evenings after the day trips, we spent time at the pool and ordered bites from the kitchen. Good Sri Lankan food. Thanks to Hashan for serving us and checking in on us during our stay! We had breakfast one day and dinner another day! Good mix of Sri Lankan and continental!

We had a nice experience in our stay at Two Forty. We received a warm welcome even though we reached the place at 3 am. The room was cozy and clean. The in charge persons were too friendly. They provided a tasty and an authentic Sri Lankan food. The property is located easily accessible with Bandarawela bus station and Railway station. Thank you Mr. Sayuru rathnayake for making our stay comfortable and memorable one.

We stayed only one night, customer service was exceptional. We had dinner with a chilled beer and breakfast. Both were so tasty, close to town but the location is very nice. Highly recommend the place for anyone visiting Bandarawela Badulla area.

The climate was cool and the views were spectacular.

The climate was cool and the views were spectacular. Best place to shop for groceries and fresh produce is Cargill Opposite the old post office in the town centre. Had difficulty in finding Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. And almost impossible to find places that offer freshly brewed Ceylon tea. People are friendly and willing to help. Accomodation is cheaper in Bandarawela. Hence it makes sense to base your self here and explore neighbouring places like Ella, Diyathlawe and Haputale .

We stayed for two nights. The property had 5 bedrooms, of which we rented 4, however we have access to the whole house. The property is looked after by a family (son and his mother) and they are friendly, happy to go the extra mile to help the guest. The food was delicious. They are happy even to wake up early in the morning to make coffee when checking out (say 5am) or stay late night for check in.

The location is incredible, on the hillside surrounded by trees and great for wildlife spotting. We saw more wildlife species here than we did anywhere else in Sri Lanka. The food was delicious with large portion sizes and the staff were incredibly accommodating with any query or request we had. We really liked spending time up at the restaurant space and exploring the site of the estate on foot.

We had a very nice stay here. The hotel provided a luxury shuttle service from the train station, which was punctual and convenient. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and the rooms were incredibly clean and beautifully designed—simply great rooms! Opening the door, we couldn’t help but say, ‘Wow!
