In the middle of mountains and rice paddies. Amazing 360 degrees views. Beautifuly maintained grounds with little string, our kids loved to explore every corner of the place. Nice refreshing pool, badminton playground. Personnel realy goes the extra mile and the service during mealtime was top notch. Room was large, comfy, nicely furnished with beautiful views. We realy loved just to chill out there. There is a waterfall 20min walk from there.

A unique boutique hotel in a unique location. We stayed for three days, it was three days of absolute peace, relaxation and fantastic views. There are only mountains, rice fields and wildlife around. Giant squirrels came to us for breakfast while we tasted the best tea in the world. A wonderful, courteous, friendly team that treats guests like beloved relatives. They are ready to respond to any whim (guys, we miss you already). To get to the most stunning views, the hotel provides you with transportation. And there is also a Spa where you can get treatments in complete unity with nature. In short, we have loved this place forever.

The location was peaceful and serene, providing the perfect escape. The staff were exceptionally attentive, with impeccable attention to detail. The meals served during our stay were absolutely delicious and carried a nostalgic, home-cooked charm. A special highlight was the morning visit to Pahanthudawa Waterfall, thoughtfully arranged by the team, which made our experience even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet getaway from Colombo.

Amazing garden, very cool area, and nice rooms. And most of all, very cool staff. Extremely helpful and nice! Also we had visit from monkeys and cute dogs. We slept comfortably. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night - we would've loved to stay longer. Do not miss out on the pahathudawa waterfall just close by.

This was probably the cheapest stay in our holiday and the best of course. It's a guest house held by a family in Ohiya. As soon as we came in we were welcomed by the 17yo daughter who is very smart and fluent in English and so she was able to tell us what to do in the area. We had our dinner with other guests and the food was out of this world. We were so happy with the dinner that we asked to stay for the lunch the day after and we were not disappointed with that. Instead, the mom provided us with another incredible meal after managing to prepare our takeaway breakfast as well. Room was small but comfortable with a private bathroom.

The location within the tea plantations is perfect with a breathtaking view down to the plains. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great. Rooms are spacious and very clean with a wonderful view from the bed. The owners organise a Tuk-Tuk for a whole day for a reasonable price. We started our trip to Horton Plains very early (5:45) and were provided with breakfast boxes. The owner takes ecology protection seriously, no plastic bottles or plastic bags are being provided.

That’s the best hostel we stayed in Sri Lanka 😊 They organised us a tuk tuk to go to Horton plains for a very reasonable price and you can also eat in the hostel, they serve a big buffet that it’s impossible to finish. The terrace is a nice place to chill and there is birds, lizards and monkeys around. They also very nice family with a friendly dog.
