The owners couldn’t have been more helpful - from helping me find the place to bringing me juice and a snack when I arrived! They cooked such a lovely breakfast where I sat on the balcony area watching the nature. The room itself was massive and had everything I needed, so comfortable.

Location was great! Mr. Janaka, the owner and host of the property showed absolute professionalism and an extremely kind attitude, a true Military Leader. The caretakers Suranga and his wife were absolutely amazing. The hospitality, flexibility and caring nature was beyond expectations. Only drawback - you would never want to leave this place, it grows in you and you’ll feel it’s home! 😊

Animals Ahangama is an absolute gem. The boutique design is stunning — cozy, stylish, and full of character. It truly feels like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived the staff did an amazing job, nothing was any trouble and always a smile.. add to this an amazing building and decor you have an amazing hotel. I made the mistake of booking a place in the fort for the social aspect that was more expensive and half as nice in every department, probably forgo the 3 nights in the new place and return to Taavetti, you won't regret booking i promise you.
