This is the hotel we liked the most during our stay in Sri Lanka. It’s situated next to the lagoon. The room is spacious, bed comfortable, delicious breakfast & very kind and friendly staff. The river safari is also agréable, we’ve seen different animals. If we come back to Sri Lanka, here is the place we want to stay again.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had a welcome juice and unlike other places could take card or cash. The jungle setting and location was quiet a d tranquil and I loved the surroundings. Birds, palm squirrels and the accommodation's dog added to the experience. The room was big and spacious with a back patio area to have drinks and look at the jungle. Tea and coffee and toiletries came with the room, toilet roll. Some places haven't so just thought it was worth mentioning. I loved the outdoor pool and the general outdoor area. I chilled with a book outside.

We LOVED everything about our stay. The rooms were large and tastefully decorated; the staff were exceptional; great pool and bar with happy hour. We cannot fault a thing and would highly recommend staying here. It was slightly kore expensive than our other hotels but wortg every cent!

excellent location of the hotel with a view of the ocean. the beach is not for swimming, but there are no crowds of tourists, a beautiful sunset, haze, waves. The owners of the hotel are hospitable and positive. the staff is polite and happy to help. All wishes are taken into account, problems are solved. Breakfasts are good. The rooms, bed, bedding are excellent and clean, shower with hot water.

I had an amazing experience staying at Oma Hikkaduwa. The hotel is clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with a perfect blend of comfort and style. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredibly friendly host couple—they were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their personal touch made us feel right at home. The location is also fantastic—just a short walk from the beach and close to great restaurants and shops. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hikkaduwa. Can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous villa accomodating few families (45 people ). Lots of space and room to be comfortable even when raining it was a good space to be in. Food : very good and local specialties - mango curry. Staff : very attentive and helpful. Rooms : very clean and spacious Swimimg pool : good size
