We stayed at Thuruliya Hotel for one night and loved it. The hotel has incredible views, and we enjoyed seeing the waterfalls and tea fields on the way from Nanu Oya station. The staff were very kind, and the restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes.

The house was beautiful located right within the hills with a stunning view. The room was spotless and beautifully presented. The shower and bathroom facilities were also great. It looks just like the photos. We had a three course dinner at the property with a beer each costing 9,900 rupees total it was amazing (see photos). All in all I would recommend this to anyone and would defiantly go back!

We stayed 1 night (2 adults + 1 child) and we regret we didn't stay longer. Cottage San Francesco exceeded our expectations. Everything was super well organized from check-in to check out, a big "plus"! Staff really friendly and helpful. They gave us nice dinner recommendations in the city and arranged a tuktuk for us. Room was big, clean, quiet and with a wonderful view on the tea fields and mountains. Bed was super comfortable. Beautiful breakfast and tasty. We saw that some previous comments were negative about the location and the access, but for us, location was amazing, with stunning views. For the access, even a small car can access easily without issues.

This is the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. I won't go back to Sri Lanka, but I can at least advice other people to come back here for me. The room was beautiful, spacious and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was the best we ever had. The bathroom was clean. The view was pretty. The building looked magnificent. I loved the long narrow balcony that continued to the other side of the room. The garden looked classic and luxurious. Also, it wasn't very damp, which I did expect in the mountains. Our parking spot for our tuktuk was next to our hotel and beside the garden, which was perfect. We had our vegan dinner from room service and the taste was very good.

The location of the hotel especially our room is fantastic! We enjoyed the majesty of the Ramboda fall directly from our rooms without any obstructions. Throughout the stay we amazed seeing and hearing the beautiful falls from our rooms and terraces! The short walk from the hotel to the foot of the falls is mesmerising! From one of our rooms, we also enjoyed watching another two falls in distance, which were also very beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly and made our stay unforgettable. The food was amazing with the mixture of western and Sri Lankan cuisine. We love to stay again in the same hotel same room during our next Sri Lankan trip.
