A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). The Hotel is located right next to the ocean which is amazing for a small walk after breakfast. The people working at white rose were really helpful and kind and also helped to carry the luggage and so on. Especially beautiful is the garden. People take care a lot to keep it clean and a huge variety of different trees are present. The room itself was really clean. Definitely recommend for a nice stay not too far away (1h) from Negombo.
