We had a wonderful experience at this hotel from check-in to check-out. The atmosphere was remarkable, immediately making us feel relaxed upon our arrival. The hotel's architecture was stunning, and the well-maintained swimming pool offered breathtaking views. The staff was incredibly attentive, quickly addressing all our requests with a smile. To top it all off, the dinner buffet was exceptional, featuring a fantastic selection of delicious dishes. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Our stay was really perfect. The hotel was one of the cleanest we had in Sri Lanka, the pool is awesome and invites for relaxed hours. The room and its equipment was also impeccable. We spontaneously prolonged our stay for one more night because we just loved it. Tharindu and the rest of the staff were super attentive and fulfilled every wish. The restaurant was also yummy and the prices were reasonable. They even gave us a free bottle of water for the onward journey. The organization of the full day safari was easy and we got to see elephants and leopards with our guide Dinuka. The guide was also very good as he was very experienced (one time he predicted the exact point of a leopard crossing the road). All in all: If we ever come back to Tissimaharama, we will definitely stay there again!

Gayan was a fantastic host and he does so much for his guests, e.g. getting you to places close to his location and pick up again, a short evening lake tour, organize different things upon requests of guests, etc. all without additional costs. Highly recommended!

Extremely enthusiastic owner ready to bend over backwards to make the client happy. Able to arrange safari trips, scooter rentals, take you to bus station etc. Excellent home cooked dinner by owner's wife, a true masterchef, food for two could feed six, worth the value of the stay alone. Awesome Welcome & Farewell drinks, take away breakfast ready at 5:30 for our early morning safari trip, couldn't ask for more. Would rate 11 out of 10!!

Clean and lovely in a beautiful location. The family are so warm and welcoming. They accommodated our dietary requests easily and we’re very sweet to our children. The lake front is picturesque, delicious home cooked and garden harvested food, and our trip to Kataragama was unforgettable. Such warm hospitality from our hosts. Literally everything was perfect! Host is such a kind and caring person. WiFi works great, view from terrace is stunning, room is extremely clean with hot water. Food they offer is very delicious, they offer different kinds of curry, all of them are great. When I went for safari she even prepared a breakfast for takeaway for me. I’d definitely come back again.
