Palanga is Lithuania’s busiest seaside resort and is located on the Baltic Sea. However, it comes with a seasonal personality due to it being a peaceful paradise during winter before transforming into a dynamic party town in summer.

There are many nice nature and culture places to visit in Palanga, however they are often overcrowded during high season, and the resort is severely overpriced during summer season comparing to similar resorts in Latvia or Poland. A lot of places to go for a walking outdoor as the Birute park, seaside, main street etc. Visit the Amber Museum, Concer hall and whatever you want. Try Lithuanian cuisine specialities as ceppelines, cold beetroot soup, potato pancakes with meat filling, different kinds of local fish, berries, cabbage rolls with chopped meat. Great activities for the kids. Has everything, especially the amusement park area. Beach, parks, all really nice. Could use a bit more clothing stores for men's stuff. Plenty of great women's and kids' boutiques. Only hated seeing every family at every restaurant, or every teen working at a bike rental, on their phone though. The whole country is badly addicted.
