Location of the hotel was right in the middle of everything. Staff and especially Adam, hotel manager, was very attentive, helpful and ready to solve any problem or just give you advice. Breakfast were delicious and time range was from eight till noon, so you can wake up very late.

Everything great. They picked me up at the airport and back. I was offered a better room and gave me advise about the city and places to have dinner. The hotel and the room were very confortable , and Abdessamad, the owner, very attentive and helpfull.

Very nice resort, with super friendly staff - from the reception, to the kitchen, the bar, the cleaners - every one was genuinely friendly. The hotel is set up beautifully in front of the lagoon, and all the areas are very cozy: the indoor restaurant, the outdoor sitting area, the outdoor beach bar, the yoga room: everything is neat! The food was incredibly good, with a huge buffet offering lots of different options (we even found the quality to be way better than the more expensive hotels on the other side of the lagoon!). Our bungalow room was comfortable, and the cleaning ladies even offered to clean it twice a day if we wanted (which was'nt necessary for us, but still a nice gesture/option!). The director was around during our stay, and he seemed friendly not only to the customers but also to the staff, while having everything under control. The free pick-up/drop off shuttle was very convenient as well. The wingfoil instructor we had - Rachid - was super nice and competent, and he was the reason we decided to take more lessons despite the high prices. Also a special shout out to the barman (the one that was running the beachbar during the afternoons), who was incredibly friendly and professional, with strong communication skills in english as well.

Everything. The location, the staff, the food. From when we first arrived the wonderful Ayoub looked after us and he even let me win at chess to feel good ;) You could wake up and walk straight to the beach and go kitesurfing before returning for breakfast, what more could you want?

Breakfast was v good - machine coffee (not charged as an extra) would be much appreciated. Also, gluten free options. The mango juice, porridge & crepes were v popular: more fresh fruit would be great too… Meals were generally excellent - but more choice for kids, pls - pizza/ nuggets & chips/ simple pasta & tomato/ pesto sauce Also, more snacks eg chocolate bars/ smoothies/ ice creams between meals for kids pls Incredible service. Wonderful staff. Super cocktails (prices / descriptions of each and of wine would be appreciated- a menu list ). Fantastic bday cake - thank you! And for our breakfast on departure with takeaways pancakes. V kind. Loved the fish & buffet salads etc And the Dune Canyon bonfire, guitar & songs. Spectacular Amazing atmosphere. Brilliant ION kitesurfing club & pool. Pls could steam room not be an extra cost - to warm up sailing after kiting. More activities needed eg bikes/ Stand up Paddleboarding (free, pls!) , boules, paddle tennis etc for down days (low wind). Very nice, very clean and silent hotel in Dakhla. I've traveled all over Morocco, all the way to Dakhla and this place deserves a solid 10. It's beautiful, spotlessly clean, but above all, sometimes it's about the people, not the place. The girl on the reception speaked very good english (what was the problem mostly in other hotels) and she smiles all the time. Thank you. I'll come soon but for longer time. Inshallah.

Dakhla is a beautiful magical location !!

Dakhla is a beautiful magical location !! We stayed 7 nights . It took 2 days of driving to get to the because it’s very far. I highly recommend the best hotel which is La Crique Hotel and Spa which is exceptional for its fine service and location.

Southbay Dakhla was absolutely top!

Southbay Dakhla was absolutely top! We had an amazing week here. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to Hiba, the housekeeper—she was incredibly kind and customer-focused, really made us feel at home. We stayed in a suite with a beautiful view, which made the experience even better. The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Truly a great place to stay—highly recommended!

Choosing this White Dunes Canyon for a break from the big...

Choosing this White Dunes Canyon for a break from the big city, whether it be New York or Casablanca, was a just a fluke! It turned out to be perhaps the best choice imaginable. As for the town..unforgettable, but then one goes to Dakhla for the water, dunes, spectacular views, and calm.

Great to stay in the town of Dakhla where you can take a...

Great to stay in the town of Dakhla where you can take a walk on the strand (aka Cornich) and soak in some local color. Stop at a coffee shop just outside the doors of Palais Rhoul and you enter a different world- it’s magnificent. This location is the best!! Only a short car ride from the white dune & dragon island. You can get a guide at the coffee shop. Palais rhoul is your sanctuary during your trip. The pool is magnificent after your city walk. Then have a cocktail and relax;) Maje sure to order your dinner at breakfast at Palais Rhoul. This will be an amazing dinner prepared fresh especially for you by their magnificent chef Fayiz who has been a chef for 20 years. His food is magnificent!! You will have the best dinner:)) The staff is wonderful!! From Joan who will greet you and be there for anything you need; all the staff is exceptionally attentive to your every need. I have been coming to Morocco for 24 years- as my husband is Moroccan. I have stayed in the best hotels in this country. THIS boutique hotel is exceptional on every level. Bravo Palais Rhoul.

It's a lively nice town on South Morocco.

It's a lively nice town on South Morocco. There ain't much arts and crafts to shop, like in the North. However, the beach is not overcrowded, and there is a restaurant with cold bear and fresh seafood nearby. Also, check for the oysters /grill fish, before arriving. At the village there are many local restaurants for ground meat, skewers, fish tajines, and the other usual dishes. Most of them are good and inexpensive. For the ones coming for the water-sports, beware that the usual entry point for the lagoon is nearly 30 km away. That can be done in 20 min, easily. Also, for those planning to drive there, from the north, watch out for the police checks at the road, on the previous village. They extort the foreigners. Be sure that you stop when you see the stop / halt sign and only restart when they ask. You will have to stop twice, to avoid the ticket: one at the sign, and other near them. The Police controls near Dakhla, were normal.

The staff was very nice and kind, the breakfast was good (at the open caffeteria from the ground floor), the room was very clean and well equipped. We travelled by car and we parked safely in front of the hotel. The location is quite normal for Dakhla so manage your expectations. They can also help you with laundry, we paid 11 euros for lots of clothes. We recommend Restaurant Villa Dakhla, 15mins walk from the hotel.

very stilysh hotel, style african, with nice artwork and lovely surfaces. Adam, the manager is very friendly. the rooftop-bar has a beautiful view of the lagoon and is very inviting. many restaurants nearby. free wifi is also very good. Adam prepared a full breakfast with omelette and cappuccino at 6 o clock in the morning and also helped us get a taxi to the airport.

I stayed here because it was the only dorm I could find in Dakhla and I wanted to meet other backpackers. It's OK but a bit out of the way on the very northern extreme of the city. If you don't mind a good walk or taxis it's fine but if not you're better off more central. There are many hotels around the same price as the dorm here.
