This is a very exceptional place. This is a family run guesthouse. The owners are super welcoming so that at the same time as providing all the comforts of a hotel, you also feel like you are being welcomed into the family as a friend. This combination together with the beauty of the location made this an absolute highlight of our visit to Morocco

I had an exceptional stay at a hotel in Imlil. From the moment we arrived at 12:00, the team welcomed us warmly with Moroccan tea and delicious traditional cookies. The room was clean, comfortable, and featured a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room was equipped with air conditioning, which kept us perfectly warm despite the 8°C temperature outside. In the evening, the host prepared a Moroccan "Harira” and Moroccan tagine with fruit for dinner, which was truly delicious. The next morning, we enjoyed a generous breakfast served directly in our room, allowing us to make the most of the balcony and the view. The Wi-Fi connection and hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay. The hotel located in the center of imlil close to many restaurants and the waterfall We also appreciated the convenience of parking our car right in front of the hotel, and the area was very quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax and fully enjoy their time in Imlil.

It's hard to say what we liked because we absolutely loved everything about it. First, the hospitality of Houssain and his brother Moustapha: people who welcomed us very warmly. Then, the accommodation: View Peaks Lodge is located in the Berber village of Arghen. A magical, authentic place that immediately gave us positive vibes. Our kids falled in love with the place and we too. The view from the terrace is amazing. You can see Imlil and the other villages, the mosques, the mountains... A word of advice: the road leading to the village might be intimidating at first, but we recommend everyone to continue without fear because if you pay attention at least is very safe. We drove it with easy with a rental Kia Picanto. When we reached the end of the road, we parked and Houssain came to pick us up and helping with bags along the very short path to the lodge. Moreover: fantastic breakfast included in the price (everything was delicious). You can also ask Houssain to prepare something for you to eat for lunch or dinner: we tried the lentil soup, the Moroccan salad, the minced meat and egg tagine, and the fresh peaches and oranges with cinnamon. Everything was very very good, affordable, and incredibly authentic. Thanks again for everything; we discovered a place of the soul. We will come back soon!

Staying at Dar Tamatert was an absolute pleasure!

Staying at Dar Tamatert was an absolute pleasure! The guesthouse is set in a beautiful location with breathtaking views of the mountains, offering a true escape from the noise and rush of the city. The hospitality was outstanding—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome. The rooms were cozy, clean, and full of local charm. The homemade meals were delicious and full of flavor, the perfect way to end a day of exploring. This is a place where you arrive as a guest but leave feeling like family. Highly recommended!
