Moussa at reception was friendly and professional. He suggested really nice restaurant opposite to children play area for our daughter. He is star of this hotel. Security man was always helpful. All of their staff is very polite. Location was good too. Great for families. Highly recommended.

We liked everything. The staff were very gracious and helpful. We loved our junior suite. A bonus were the storks flying near our terrace at sunset. The view of the mountains was superb and we were walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit. Great breakfast.

I visited Tetouan for personal reasons opposed to a holiday and required only a room and base from which I could travel and carry out my tasks. This location was perfect for my needs. The property was very clean, equipped with a functioning shared kitchen, and several shared toilets/shower rooms that were finished to a very high standard. The room itself was very clean and had all that I required. Whilst the room did not have air-conditioning there was a portable electric fan which was a great addition and kept me cool (during summer). I was provided with fresh towels on request and the staff were extremely kind, with each new staff member offering their help and friendly service. The premises is situated just off a main road, which has several shops, cafes, take-aways, restaurants and a Mosque. This road also offers guests the opportunity to flag down taxis into the city centre, which is only 5-10 minutes away and cost less than 20MD (2 euro). As a fit and able person, it took me about 25-30 minutes to walk into town too. On the same street as the hotel I noticed several shops where I could buy groceries, and also a gym. A special mention to Nabil who contacted me prior to my flight to arrange a taxi from the airport to the venue. This cost 100MD (10 euros). Upon arrival at the airport the taxi driver was waiting for me outside. Nabil was also very helpful again as he arranged my taxi from the hotel to the airport. The taxi was required early hours (530am) and so the cost was 150MD (15 euros). Whilst locally people would say these prices are a little high, in Europe they are standard and allowed me to make my flight early without the stress of finding a yellow cab in the early hours of the morning. Since digital boarding passes can not be used in the Tetouan airport, due to lack of technology, Nabil helped me once more by printing my boarding pass for me and passing it to the taxi driver, who presented it to me upon my collection.

Basically everything! Staff very polite, carefull and always smily and ready to help. From frontdesk to housekeeping. Restaurant AWESOME, fair prices e plenty food. Very good breakfast. Fast internet, confortable bed, average bedroom size, hot and good shower, very clean, safe private parking and awesome location. Everything was perfect and highly recommended. I would be there again easily. Those guys were reeponsible for erasing bad memories and experiences we had 2 days in a row in Morocco, and set back our faith in people. We were at our fourth day of the trip (of 21) and we were questioning ousrelves about the morroquian hospitality and friendship, and here at Hotel Atenas, they set this all back and changed the rest of the trip in a positive way. I will be forever thankfull to them. They really made the difference!

Tetouan has several museums well worth visiting.

Tetouan has several museums well worth visiting. The old medina is an experience in its own right, alleys opening in to small squares on which sit cafes to take a coffee or mint tea. The people of Tetouan are kind, helpful and accommodating to those visiting their city.

This is our first visit to the city of Tétouan . It’s a beautiful place to visit and a lot of places to visit Martel The old city Al finadiq Septa Chefchaouen Very nice Cafes and Restaurants and Beaches

Very hilly but taxis very cheap.

Very hilly but taxis very cheap. Not a place for those who have walking problems. The day starts slowly and quiet until about 1pm when streets become very busy and a bit claustrophobic. A trip to the Beach at Martil definitely worth it. If you can take public transport/shared taxis to sights as it is so inexpensive. A 1 hour plus trip in a luxury coach to the Blue City cost just over 5 euros for two adults (seniors). Definitely worth a visit to see a more real Morocco but if you want the touristy vibe head to Marrakech .

We drove all across Morocco, from Marrakech to Merzouga and then north up to Tangier. I must say Tetuan was the less touristic city in all our trip from our point of view. What was really good was shopping. We managed to get lots of things at very affordable prices (much cheaper than other cities in Morocco).

Enjoyed the more traditional Moroccan market, a market that isn't focused on tourists. Tetouan is situated in a beautiful mountain valley and the Spanash/Moroccan architecture in the old town make it an interesting city to explore. I would have liked more time to explore the area.

Tetouan is a quiet, less touristy city with a Spanish...

Tetouan is a quiet, less touristy city with a Spanish influence in its architecture. It’s about 1h15 from Chefchaouen by bus and Grand taxis take you up the coast to M’diq of which the beach boardwalk is the highlight. People are friendly and helpful but beware of men trying to take you to the Berber markets as they only want to sell you carpets!

Super clean and comfortable Hotel Large size of the suite with amazing open view of the mountains. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Mr.Hatim at the reception was very helpful and informative and made the stay to be memorable by recommending local areas and places to visit. Restaurant served high quality and delicious food, and the menu was varied and very good. Secure parking at the hotel was available and secure with security in place. Very good place to stay in Tetouan.

The Riad was beautiful, with spacious and immaculately clean rooms that comfortably accommodated three people. The manager and his family were exceptionally friendly, assisting us with printing our tickets and even providing breakfast for our early departure before breakfast service began. It's a lovely place that I highly recommend, especially if you're seeking a peaceful retreat in Morocco.

Hotel is brand new so everything clean and nice. The staff were amazing. We didn’t realise our mobile contract didn’t cover Morocco and they went and bought us SIM cards and helped us put them in our phones and get them working. They couldn’t have been more helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious!

The best place I have stayed at in Morocco! Quiet location inside the Medina, beautiful house with a nice rooftop, and the hosts were great too! The wifi worked well and the bathroom was super clean, with all toiletries. Would definitely stay there again!
