I absolutely loved the location, Nosy Faly truly radiates peace and tranquility. Miavaka Lodge is the perfect place to unwind, whether you’re with family, friends, or a loved one. The food was, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in Madagascar...fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. There’s a wide range of activities on offer, and Nosy Faly boasts some of the most stunning scenic views of the surrounding islands, including Nosy Be and Nosy Komba. The sunsets from the swimming pool are simply magical, and the house-made rum? Easily the best I’ve ever tasted. To top it all off, I was welcomed with a lovely surprise: a complimentary upgrade to a larger tent nestled in the lush tropical gardens. Every detail exceeded my expectations...I’ll definitely be back!

The staff were fantastic, helpful and incredibly friendly. They helped us with any travel issues we had and ensured we were well provided for. The rooms were comfortable with a fan and the view was incredible. It’s right by the national park and the hotel arranged a tour guide for us for a fantastic and fair rate. The food was also fresh and delicious

Despite confirmation # they couldn’t find the reservation from Booking.com. Did manage to sort it out and they agreed to match the reserved price. Clean spacious room with 2 beds. Fan and mosquito nets, generator turned off at 2am though so got a little warm.

This is a million star stay, close to nature and tranquil. A little paradise. Do not expect fancy facilities, you are in the middle of nature, with a private beach, to enjoy the sea, the forest and the Milky Way.

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. The place is really amazing, there was not a single thing we didn't like. the staff was perfect, helpful, smiling ...the owners went far beyond what one would expect, recommending and organizing the excursions for us, providing whatsoever we needed . The quality of the facility is great, the lodges are unique providing a great comfort ...Our experience was unique. we really regretted not to be able to stay longer than the 5 days ...The place is a little bit isolated, which was something we were looking for.... and liked... We have a place for our next visit to Nosy Be.! Thank you Sebastian and staff for everything!

What an absolutely lovely stay at this lodge with a breathtaking view! It is quite the climb to get up to the lodge, but it is absolutely worth it. Our hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, it made our stay that much more relaxing. And to top it off, the presence of lemurs is a one of a kind experience. Memories made for a lifetime, thank you!
