I love the neatness, comfort of the room, and the fact that there is a 24-hour shop on the ground floor to buy snacks and other basic things. There is also the hotel restaurant on the ground floor that opens till 10 pm. They clean the room every day and change the sheets. The receptionists are very polite and friendly. Very comfortable stay.

Just around the corner from a central square and pedestrian zone, this place guaranees you everything you need in just a 5 minute walk and yet it is peaceful and private. Prilep as a city really surprised us in a very positive way.

Prilep as a city really surprised us in a very positive way. The city is lively, clean, and beautifully maintained. We explored the city center and bought some of their local pastries. We also visited the “chess figures,” which can also be found on the city’s coat of arms. We drove to the brewery, but I wouldn’t recommend that — they don’t offer guided tours or have a factory store. This is the brewery where they produce Skopsko beer, Zlatni Dab, and Kralj Marko (if I remember correctly). What truly impressed us was the visit to the Tobacco Museum. The curator, Aleksandar, really took his time to present the exhibits, and he had a story or bit of history to share about each one. It was truly fascinating — you can see that he’s deeply passionate about the museum. Only about 20–30 minutes away is the town of Kruševo, the birthplace of Toše Proeski (museum dedicated to him), and very interesting monument dedicated to the Ilinden Uprising (like spaceship). The surrounding nature is also very beautiful. There’s probably even more to see in the area, but unfortunately, we ran out of time.

Prilep is a very friendly town and you can meet friendly...

Prilep is a very friendly town and you can meet friendly people even by sitting on the public bench, people will approach you and try to make friends with you. There are quite a lot of places that will attract your attention like some monuments from very well-known people from Macedonian history. There is an incredible number of small restaurants where you can have food and it is very cheap indeed. There are plenty of taxis and they are very cheap too.

Our trip aim was little of climbing /bouldering the rocks near by and see local's life whic is amazing and worth to see. Good fun. Hope they will manage to deal better with trash in the very near future. Painfull for me to see and more painfull for the natures future.

The center of Prilep is truly chaotic, with narrow alleyways...

The center of Prilep is truly chaotic, with narrow alleyways where traffic is prohibited, sidewalks clogged with parked cars, and old mansions in a very precarious state of repair. The Markuvi Kuli mountains are breathtaking, and the Ottoman bazaar is interesting as a more traditional part of the area, with other interesting sites to visit nearby.

Prilep is a beautiful city with a nice selection of medieval monuments. Beautiful landscapes and hospitable and friendly people. It wouldn't be bad if there was a slightly wider road to Prilep than the existing one, especially if you drive at night.

A cozy gingerbread town surrounded by stunning mountains. The town is clean, and there's a market in the center on Saturdays. If you get bored, Krushevo, Macedonia's highest mountain town, is a 40-minute minibus ride from the bus station.

We stayed at this accommodation for one night. We were traveling as a family (2 adults and 3 children) – the apartment is spacious enough. The accommodation is in a first floor and is close to the city center, so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. Parking is in front of the apartment, reserved, so you have a guaranteed parking space. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Would recomment this accommodation. Prilep is a very beautiful city with lots to see. I highly recommend visiting the Tobacco Museum.

We really glad that we spent 2 days in Antika. For us it was a game changer in visiting Prilep. If you want to visit Prilep and you want to get to know the city Antika is the perfect place, especially if Michael is around. The kitchen has everything for cooking, the shared space is really cosy, the rooms are big and clean. The position is central and it is perfect. There is a talented bike mechanic nearby if you are travelling with bicycles:

The room looked newly renovated, spacious, clean with a big modern bathroom, and tea kettle and tea/coffee provided. The owner of this mini hotel was nice, he spoke English with google translate and also offered me a discount at his clothes store next door. If he is not in and the hotel door is closed when you arrive, ask the ladies at this store to call him. I had a good stay and a good sleep at this hotel in the center.
