Although there were a lot of restaurants nearby, because it...

Although there were a lot of restaurants nearby, because it was the Thursday after carnival, there was not much available. The central location of the hotel made it easy to go around. The residents were friendly and helped in translating and pointing the way to the places we wanted to go to. I would recommend that hotel to anyone wishing to visit Martinique. We watched the carnival from the window and enjoyed it as it was a bit different from our carnival. Nice clean fun.

Fort de France is a great place to just walk and walk and walk to see everything. The Fort, the library, the museum, the beach, the bars and nightlife etc etc etc I loved it there 🥰 If you do want to explore more, car rentals are as low 20USD per day 😊

I was in the city during the Easter holidays and I loved the pageantry on Holy Thursday. It was a wonderful and unexpected experience. I appreciated the helpful nature of the general population and the depth of information and ease of manner of delivery of info.on the walking tour to the fort.

The city is easy to get around on foot and there are many places to eat and a few attractions right in the city all within walking distance no more that 10 minutes. The market, beach and port is all within walking distance.

Fort de France was a very nice place to visit in Martinique. We stayed at a nice hotel the first 2 days we were there. Unfortunately, I reserved a hotel room at Maison Clementine where the owner overcharged me by 100 euros!!! Keep away from that place.

We went to St. Anne and to St.

We went to St. Anne and to St. Pierre on tours and enjoyed both. The fish market was small, and the other markets were very much like other tourist markets. We walked during the day and it was easy to get around.

Best location in Fort de France! The hotel is in the centre of the city, on a walking distance to all the main attractions and restaurants. There is a small beach nearby and boats to other beaches. Breakfast is good with nice food, music and seaview. All the people, working on the reception, are very polite and helpful.

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Great light in the bathroom. Modern and peaceful patio Lounge/infinity pool/restaurant area. Beach towels available with deposit. Very friendly staff. Great view on the left side, the right side being an industrial zone. Free parking right at the entrance of the hotel

Probably the best thing about the hotel is live music with African motives in the restaurant in the night, it helped to set up the convivial mood for the whole journey :) My room had a terrace, the view of the promenade was gorgeous in the morning.
