It is not a typical all-inclusive hotel so you can have a more relaxed stay in Cancun. We loved the villa and the swimming pool area. Being able to have breakfast on the terrace was a pleasure. The owner was also very friendly and gave us good recommendations.

Cancún beaches and area is very beautiful! White sandy beaches with clear and transparent sea water.
With a very nice night life and lots of restaurants.
Additionally, it's relativity close to many archeological sites, nature reserves, and family parks.

It's not a place if you don't speak Spanish.
It's not a place if you don't speak Spanish. I got on the beach and I could not get off because there was no exit to get off it was all private with fences. No seemed to speak English or help. It's not friendly and very aggressive to you as you walk through areas. Better figure out how to get. Pesos and then figure out how to use them. Very disappointed for a place that hardly anyone knows English for a place like Cancun.

This is absolutely my favorite spot to vacation .. the people, the beaches, the weather .. it is just so beautiful. At no time did I ever feel unsafe. We took buses, taxis, and walked places and had no problems at all. Xcaret is a must - the wildlife and natural beauty is breath taking. We ate at our resorts most of the time, but we did go to a couple little taco spots. Everything was good. We visited Juarez Beach, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, and ventured to some cenotes. The people are absolutely awesome and truly treat you like "familia" if you show them you are interested in them and their culture.

Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect. During our trip we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Cancun.
The 2nd day we took an amazing snorkeling tour in PC and the 3rd day we went to Xcaret…the most amazing place that has everything. My favorite part…Mexico Spectacular Show 😍😍😍!
The last 2 day in Cancun we stayed in the hotel and its beach and we had a walk to the night club area and restaurants.
We did something different everyday, including where and how we ate. Some days we cooked in our hotels because it’s pretty easy to get groceries or to eat in a local market!
We were really tired the last days but I didn’t want to go back home yet, I still wake up at home wishing I could go out to enjoy that surprisingly spectacular landscape!
Everybody can see there’s never enough time to know everything The Riviera Maya offers!!
We had the biggest room which was admittedly super beautiful, but we stayed only 1 night and therefore paid a way higher price for a service that we couldn't use at all. So partly mistake on our side, half of the room's size and thus a consideraby lower rate would have been absolutely sufficient for us.
The hotel and its garden itself are quite nice but I think you don't come to Cancún for this, it's far from the city center, far from the beach and still too far from the airport.
Staff were great, well trained. Tipping is usual in this resort and the employees are striving to please. We had a departure flight delay so weren't leaving until 3:00 and they allowed us to stay on the resort with our wrist bands which was great.Valet parking was included. Food was wonderful, entertainment was great. The only other luxury all inclusive I have been to is Sandals, but I preferred this hotel even though I typically don't prefer large resorts.
Ideally located north of Cancun away from the crowds. There were several restaurant options, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, French fusion and buffet. Beach was wonderful with very little seaweed. Staff super nice and attentive. Multiple pools, food available and poolside for lunch. Room service food available too. Everything all inclusive. Really no need to leave resort.
It’s about 45-60 minutes north of airport.
This hotel represents good value for money. It is very clean, the bed was comfortable and shower was hot and spacious. It is a basic hotel that represents value as opposed to luxury, so don't be misled by the 4 stars. The shared kitchen is handy and the outside space is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Villa Sofia for a short stay if passing through Cancun.
the beachfront was long and beautiful and all staff members exceptionally nice and helpful. a lot of English is spoken here. the suite is part of the all ritmo resort and water park and this is important to remember. we bought the hotels all inclusive package which I felt was a very good value, but there is really no place else to go without taking a bus, car or taxi.
Really good facilities. Hotel is super clean and well taken care of. The staff is great, room is large and comfortable, all inclusive restaurants are good. Drinks are always available, room service works 24/7 and the location is great. Is not filled with party animals since the hotel is not super close to the city center, so its a great place to relax.
the location of the property is amazing proximity to all the great things in the hotel zone :) I only stayed one night but it would be a good base if you like to party and want to hang out it Cancun for a while! the airport shuttle too was convenient! free breakfast is always a plus :)
I loved the location , right on the water . Smaller hotel so it’s easy to find your way around. Wonderful and friendly staff and good food considering it’s all inclusive. There was always something going on to entertain guests which I enjoyed .
Good hotel if you have a early morning flight from Cancun Airport. The hotel has free shuttle service every 30 min. Standard of the hotel was good, the public areas were very clean and with every amenities you need.
We were travelling on a budget, needing proximity to the airport for an early flight. Basic room and relatively cheaper than other more refined airport hotels in Cancun - ok value for the price charged.
The facilities were very clean and new. The buffet was better than most regular all inclusive hotels. The rooftop was the best part of the hotel, although it wasn’t part of the all included program.
I get my all inclusive from this hotel …. They have good foods and drinks!!! And best thing was I seat by in beach and waiter always brings food and drinks …. Thank you guys for best time
we flew into Cancun then the next day we was flying to a new destination and this hotel was a perfect hotel for airport stays as the airport was a 3 min walk and breakfast was amazing
really nice modern hotel in Cancun. we were going to Cancun for our final evening in Mexico from Tulum so really didn’t want a party spot & this was perfect. away from the hotel strip
Location is very convenient. Hotel is opposite to Cancun Ado station which provides easy transportation to airport and other parts of the city.
Ala carte breakfast was very good.
I choose the hotel because it was ALL INCLUSIVE (Free drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, all day/night); upon arrival reception told me it was only Breakfast. I changed hotels.
Very nice All Inclusive hotel.
Amenities and food are extremely excellent.
Reception staff are very grumpy, but restaurants and bar staff were very friendly and helpful.
All inclusive is the way to go! Clean pool and beach, nice weather, great restaurants and great food. Will come again with family. Thank you to Occidental costa Cancun..
