Location was great, sunbeds on the water were amazing and very relaxing throughout the day.
It does take a day or two to settle in and the food at the hotel is good considering the price. Be prepared to pay higher than normal pricing.
The front staff helped us with an issue in room booking, the room we were assigned Posideon was very noisy with music.

The fact that you are staying in a national park is amazing.
The fact that you are staying in a national park is amazing. The roads and beaches were clean and pristine. We were shocked at the cost of everything from food to the taxi fares. We went at the end of the tourist season but can't imagine the crowds in high season. We had to pay $40 USD to go 7 kilometers and it took 30 minutes.
We had a memorable dinner at Wild Tulum. Well worth the cost.
The history, ruins, swimming with turtles, and swimming in a cenote made the trip to Tulum worth visiting once for sure!

Tulum is a beautiful place with beautiful people. We spent our entire Saturday arguing with the owner because she couldn’t believe we were suffering from heat exhaustion. She refused to accommodate us and is the rudest person I’ve ever experienced.

Tulum is literally amazing, I would recommend it to everyone. Some of the best places to visit while there : Gran Cenote, Tulum Ruins, Paradise Beach, kan lum lagoon.
If you can go a bit further : Visit Akumal Beach for Turtles, Visit Sian Kaan and also Bacalar ! I would also recommend Chichen Itza and Coba ruins, there are many fantastic Cenotes nearby these two places too.
Make sure to also check : Kaab+lab (brunch)
Bar : Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar (great Mojitos)

Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive.
Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive. Taxi’s are costly. Food and drinks expensive on beach side but a little cheaper in town. Because it is a jungle there are a lot of mosquitos. Depending on what type of vacation you want Tulum has something for everyone. Just bring lots of money.

A trip to Tulum just got much easier with direct flights...
A trip to Tulum just got much easier with direct flights from the US to the new Tulum International Airport. Then, the best and most affordable way into town is the ADO bus. Get the app and buy a ticket in advance and you'll be sure to have a seat. From the pueblo of Tulum, you'll need to take a taxi to the hotel (about 4.5 miles). The hotel has rental bikes you can take into town or to the Tulum ruins. Otherwise you can just chill at the hotel. There are also a slew of tours you can go on and the hotel staff can help you pick the ones that you are most interested in. Complimentary breakfast each day and decent food for lunch and dinner. Full service bar as well. We would definitely return to Diamante K for another relaxing stay in the future.
I have traveled before to TULUM a year ago. Nowadays TULUM is another different town. So much tourism and everywhere you want to go you have to pay, inluding beach access. Public beaches you have to pay in the entrance (around 45 MXD) plus if you go with a motorbike another 100MXD to park. Do not rent a car, it is impossible to drive over. The street are totally in bad conditions also super narrow. Scooter or bikes are the only option. Also hotel zone are totally crowded, avoid this areas or carry with you 1000MXD at least per person.
This is a stunning hotel on the edge of Tulums main beach front, the design of the hotel room is well thought out with ample space in each room. The fresh cent of the room stays with you long after you leave, fresh beach & shower towels were provided daily and it was in a very tranquil spot off the busy tulum street. The hotel staff were very attentive & friendly, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple looking to find a spot of peace and luxury in Tulum.
It was an absolute treasure meeting Apollonia the hotel cat.
Excellent remodeled hotel in the heart of Tulum. Nicely styled rooms and very comfortable beds. Superb for the price point.
The common area kitchen was great for a quick meal or just gathering to socialize. I was able to meet other travelers as well as the owner in this space. Huge plus.
Only a 5 minute walk from the main ADO bus station in Tulum.
Very safe property. A big plus was the keyless entry into the rooms! Many hotels in Mexico give you a key with chain larger than your phone.. it is awful to deal with.
WishTulum was such a delight and one of our best stays in Mexico! The lady at reception spoke perfect English and recommended restaurants and conotes to us.
The room was a great size with a lovely
balcony overlooking the grounds. The pool was a good size and perfect for a cool off after a day exploring. Its perfectly located between the beaches and the town - town is walkable in 5/10 mins and the beaches you can cycle to. Would recommend hiring a bike from next door - super convenient!
The location and proximity to the beach is great. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious as well. The hotel has a certain style that we absolutely loved. Wish we spent more days there.
Also Playa Paraiso and Playa Las Palmas are only half an hour walk away and they are beautiful, especially if you want to see the coral reef. If you plan to go see the Tulum Ruins the hotel has the best location for an early morning walk there, or by bicycle.
Location and nature amazing, I loved that we stayed inside the archeological zone, ha! We saw a huge piton.
I like how easy to get to everything and how beautiful the beach is, you can rent a bike or walk to ruins and enjoy the nature. Downtown Tulum is about 20 min, it’s just slow ride and parking is about 200 pesos. Regardless of the road maintenance and that you have to make a huge circle through the park to get back to the hotel, it was great. I felt safe.
Rubi staff is very attentive, has great communication, and has a vast knowledge of the area and that brings a lot to our stay as we did not plan many things, we rely on their suggestions to go out, explore surrounding areas and navigate Tulum.
Rooms are comfortable and well decorated, with jungle views, amazing beds, and great amenities.
Rubi is not just a hotel but a place where hospitality and attention to detail are noticeable. We can highly recommend it.
Tropicalito a great surprise! Modern quiet rooms with fridge bar and private balcony, air-con and trendy decoration, swimming pool, common kitchen and access to the beach, on a nice location on the northern part of the Zona Hotelera, it is definitely a good choice and great value for money. The staff - Luis, Ivo, Dante and Enrique - is super friendly, always willing to help, a completely different attitude than the other places we saw in Tulum.
I absolutely loved this hotel! the staff are wonderful and so helpful - they will happily book taxis for you to get to the beach/hotel zone. it’s clean and quiet, in a location that’s slightly off the beaten track which I loved! you can still walk or bike (or taxi) to the centre of Tulum or the beach as well though. the pool was quiet and never packed and the rooms were simple but lovely. would highly recommend!
This place is more than just a hotel, it’s the best place in Tulum. It’s a community in the jungle and the staff make the place great.
The layout is great, the beds are amazing and the facilities I love. The food is also incredible. Erick, Havi and the rest of the staff are worth their weight in gold, the yellow nest will be the only reason why I visit Tulum again! can’t fault it, I can’t wait to come back
Very nice private beach, and because the hotel is a bit further from the beach clubs and hotel zone in Tulum, it was not affected by the Sargasso that spread on every beach in Tulum’s main touristic area. So that was a nice compensation for the horrible dirt road. The hotel crew is very nice and service in the common area is outstanding. The restaurant is also very pleasant and offers great food and snacks.
Stylish property with a lovely pool. The staff were lovely. The two young women on the front desk helped us out with perfect recommendations for beach clubs and cenotes. We enjoyed renting the bikes and using them to ride to the beach. The location is a bit out of the way, but we found it close enough to walk into Tulum town, where there are some great food options. Hotel was good value for Tulum.
excellent location, great beachfront rooms, great views, great low key restaurant and bar. much quieter than the typical spot along the hotel zone. centrally located with easy access to the city, public beaches/ruins, and the south hotel zone. we rented a bike nearby and used that for our mode of transportation once in tulum!
It was very pretty, cozy and comfortable. Rustic in a few details, which brought me an amazing experience staying at Tulum. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Also the location was very good, next to Tulum Center (with bars, stores, restaurants) and to the beach/ Hotel Zone of Tulum. I loved it!
Good location, a little further away from the loud beach clubs.
Own beach club is free of access for the hotel guests, no minimum spend.
Room with beach view is very nice!
Prices high compared to other areas in Mexico, but still on the lower end for Tulúm.
Amazing front desk, they helped me carry my bag from my last hotel which was super convenient! Got a refresher when I arrived and they were super nice. Helped me out with the Taxi as the Taxis in Tulum over charge. 10/10 service
We absolutely loved everything! The facilities with jungle ambience, the private cenote with beach club, the spacious well equipped room, the caring service. This hotel is the perfect gateway from busy Tulum
Beautiful and very relaxed and relaxing hotel. I loved the area, which is in a quieter part of the town that still feels like a village. Tulum is a fun place to spend a few days.
It was our best hôtel experience in Mexico. Very clean, a luxury apartment, not expensive. Pool exquisite with plants all around. Fantastic experience. We highly recommend.
Nice caban-room in this vintage hotel.
The staff is friendly and helpful, the location front beach and near restaurants and shops of the hotel zone of Tulum
