It's very cost-effective. The owner of the house is very enthusiastic. I highly recommend jungle river. If I come again, I will bring more fishing rods to fish! one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

It was an amazing experience!! We had Ryan as our guide, lucky us! He was always concerned that we could see as many animals as possible, and he could spot animals with great ease. We saw 4 out of 5 of the Big Five thanks to his determination! Terima Kasih Ryan 😊 In addition, the accommodation was very cozy, the staff was friendly, the food was good and there was great communication regarding the transfer! Totally recommend!!👌
