Very tidy, large, and spacious, clean room. It has a kettle, water, coffee, tea. Faiž is extremely kind, from the moment of check-in, throughout each and every day, always professional, courteous, cheerful, and ready to help for anything needed. Hotel is very good located, close to the ferry port and, less then 50 meters from the beach. All recommendations for Papaya resort, we would definitely come again.

Our family of 4 (children aged 8 and 4), just arrived back after a 6 days stay at the Boat House and what an experience it was. We were picked up at the jetty pier moments after our arrival by the very kind staff of the Boat House.Upon arrival we were absolutely amazed by the beautiful surrounding of the resort, with the long sandy beach, beautiful mountains in the back.. . Our cottage was styled with a wonderful romantic, modern yet local style. The main bedroom and additional children bedroom were very spacious, clean, equipped with 2 bathrooms and everything one needs for a relaxing holidays. The most amazing part of the cottage was a dreamy terrace, right on the wonderful sandy beach just steps away from the sea. It was wonderful to sit there, relax, listen to the waves, look at the stars, play board games with the children or just talk.. Meals offered a buffet option as well as several additional dishes that could be ordered . Chef Zul was amazing for making additional non spicy dishes for our children that were not used to spicy food. All the food was delicious. The resort offers also a game room with vintage video games and traditional Malay games that we enjoyed playing with the children. The resort offers several activities. We went for a snorkeling trip which was beautiful. We were taken to an amazing beach (Coral Island) and other points where we could see baby sharks and an amazing sea life. We can not thank enough all the staff, especially Thevan and Felix for making us feel so very welcome, for their help no matter what our needs were, for accommodating us for extra nights as we wished to stay longer, despite the fact that the resort was fully booked and for caring even once we were gone. We are grateful to them for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. In the craziness of everyday life it is finally a place to stop, breathe and reconnect with yourself and your family. We will be back soon

Stayed here for a short trip and loved it. The rooms were clean and well-kept, and the location was excellent — just a short walk to the scuba diving training centre and the jetty. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend to divers or anyone wanting easy access to the island’s main activities.

We spent 11 nights here at the beginning of the monsoon season (mid-November) and were lucky as it only rained for the last two days, otherwise it was sunny and hot. The hotel is a very lovingly designed small complex that blends in perfectly with its surroundings and almost disappears into the rainforest. Great importance is obviously attached to sustainability, which can be seen from the building materials to the rubbish bins (no plastic bags). The water quality in the restaurant and on the island is excellent and the water is safe to drink, even for Europeans. The rooms are detached, large, comfortable and lovingly furnished huts that are connected to each other and to the centre of the resort (reception, Tamarind restaurant, spa...) by wooden walkways. There are different categories - from those that stand "in the back", i.e. in the middle of the rainforest to those that are enthroned above the cliffs and offer a magnificent sea view to particularly large chalets with their own small infinity pool situated almost directly on the beach. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and courteous and cater to guests' every wish. There are three restaurants in the resort. Due to the season (monsoon, few guests), the small restaurant directly at the end of the jetty was closed. In the "Tamarind" restaurant you could enjoy Italian and Malay cuisine. There is a very long time slot for breakfast from early morning to mid-afternoon. As there were so few guests present, there was no buffet but breakfast was served instead. First there was toast with butter and jam and a platter of tropical fruit, plus coffee, tea and various fruit/yoghurt cocktails. Then you could choose from a large selection of sweet and savoury "main courses" for breakfast, from French toast to crepes, waffles, eggs in any style, sausages, bacon, ham and cheese to even a Malay soup pot.
