How am I going to put into words how absolutely wonderful Kifaru Bush Camp was?? One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi. Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive. Amber and Tristan Muller - manager/guide I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area. Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water. Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational. Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project" 'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

The restaurant is facing the waterhole where rhinos were present almost all day. At dinner time some elephants joined them. Absolutely stunning!!

Two geriatrics on a Namibian road trip received a great welcome from Danja, Anita and Jandre - absolutely outstanding hosts. Everything was so well catered for, meals were out of this world, and the afternoon sunset drive was spectacular! Thanks for the photos and memories Jandre. Our experience at Tarentaal Guest Farm was absolutely magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Namibia. From the moment we arrived, Piet and Mariana Gouws made us feel like part of their family, offering a warm welcome that set the tone for our entire stay. Their genuine hospitality and passion for their beautiful farm truly made the difference. The guesthouse itself is a peaceful oasis, with beautifully decorated rooms that were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The garden and surroundings are simply stunning, offering a perfect blend of tranquillity and nature. We enjoyed many relaxing moments here, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts. Piet’s knowledge of the local area was invaluable, and he was always eager to share interesting stories and tips to make our trip even better. Mariana’s cooking was a highlight of each day – delicious, hearty meals that were always prepared with love. Dining with the other guests around a communal table felt like sharing a meal with old friends. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the typical tourist spots, with incredible hosts who treat you like family, we can’t recommend Tarentaal Guest Farm highly enough. Such a nice place!!! In the middle of nowhere, with nice sunsets, friendly dogs, that show you the way for some hiking around the nearby mountains. GREAT dinner! We got a huge steak (grilled) and so many different and costly vegetables to go with it. They also upgraded our room, without asking. Highly recommended!!

Excellent location, great view and perfect game drives!

We spend our first night in Namibia in this Campsite and it was lovely. Really clean and green. We would love to stay here again.

Accommodation was very good. For me personally the pillows were too soft but even so I slept very well. No TV was a really good change as you don't need it if you are an early bird. Anyway, if you wanted to watch tv you could stay at home.
