I loved the very name from the start!
I loved the very name from the start! My first impressions the moment I arrived were positive, the younger lady at the reception gave me useful instructions on how to reach the centre of Amsterdam, which buses and trams to take; helpful with calling the taxi; the choice of food and drinks for the breakfast was vast and abundant, the lady very discrete and kind; other persons at the reception desk also very kind and helpful; I also loved the beautiful and friendly cat waiting for me sleeping in the armchair in front of the hotel, when I arrived late in the evening, giving that "being at home" impression. Use public transport where possible as its easy, clean, efficient and good value for money. Would recommend Villa Borghese and Gusto as nice restaurants for an evening out. I only stayed one evening, so I decided to take the capsule hotel. It is exactly what it is described as, so I cannot really complain. The room is big enough to sleep there, the bathroom is nice, the staff is friendly. Would I stay there for much more than a night?
