We were there for a motorcycle rally so our experiences were centered around this. The general area is clean and tidy and people are friendly we had a good feel about the place. Would go there again. The hotel has its own charm, and the rooms are nice. Breakfast was good, with lots of choice & I really liked the homemade jams. It looked as if the yoghurt was homemade as well, what to me would be a plus. You can book a table in the restaurant for an above average dinner. I was very pleased the temperature of my room was nice to sleep in: I like a colder room. The staff were very friendly and the food from the restaurant was delicious. The room was clean and had air conditioning. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the patio was a perfect place to sit and grab a bite to eat and drink. Well, as we arrived they told us the massage area is closed, it's under construction. If I had known that, I wouldn't have booked that hotel. I do not understand why it was not written on the booking.com page that the massage area is closed. Also in the rooms of a 4-star hotel, there are no fridges or a phone for room service.
