This is very lovely place. We were 3 persons and we had huge, cozy apartment. We rented it for Pinkpop festival. It’s very close village to the festival location. Breakfast was very good. Giving highest recommendations!

    A tidy and relaxed town.

    A tidy and relaxed town. We liked the mining museum, which was unpretentious but well-presented and very-well explained in English/German/Dutch by a local guy with connections to the industry. The other big draw is the Roman baths (extensive unearthed foundations of the whole complex, nicely presented inside a large modern warehouse structure). Rail station is not far from Tulip hotel and is well-served to Aachen and Maastricht.

    Heerlen is small, welcoming and clean -- lots of nice restaurants and a fabulous Greek restaurant "El Greco" on Pancratiusplein 39. We would go to the El Greco again and again! Indoor skiing at Landgraaf not far away.

    The city itself is not my destination.

    The city itself is not my destination. I spend 2 days, in which 1 day goes to Aachen (Germany), and the other day to Gaia Zoo and Kasteel Hoensbroek. The public transport is convenient, if you plan your trip in advance.

    Amazing staff 👏 When you get to interact with people so friendly, ready to answer any question you might have with a smile on their faces...everything that might be wrong regarding the hotel starts to not matter anymore. At my arrival there was a blonde lady in the reception. She was friendly, professional and had that big smile on her face. She helped me find a good restaurant and gave me all the information i required. It might not be helpful info about the hotel but i had to mention her.

    Our daughter had to undergo surgery in Maastricht hospital. As we live far from Maastricht, we decided to stay in this hotel in Heerlen before and after. We had the some special requests upfront and during our stay. Thanks to front office worker Dariush our stay under these very special circumstances has been more than comfortable. We especially would like to thank him for his sincere commitment and helpfulness.
