A wonderful place to stay with two active children – surrounded by convenient bike paths that wind picturesquely through canals and pastures, you can reach the famous Kinderdijk (the oldest windmills in the Netherlands) or charming Gouda. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, with everything you need to cook dinner, and the surrounding garden is a dream: beautifully manicured greenery, a swimming pool overlooking meadows and canals, teeming with wild birds. The hosts are incredibly kind and approachable, happy to advise, but also offer plenty of freedom and privacy.

    We saw the opportunity to stay at this Bed and Breakfast and...

    We saw the opportunity to stay at this Bed and Breakfast and that is how we ended up in Stolwijk. The town is minutes from Gouda and parking is easy in Gouda. The Host helped us with easy directions. We walked around the Markt area of Gouda and had a delicious dinner (Olivia Italian at the Markt). Great gas station in Stolwijk that has an inside counter which took our credit card)This was one of the highlights of our trip. We were catching a train in Rotterdam so this was a quick stop for us.
