We visited the areas on the island where grandparents were...
We visited the areas on the island where grandparents were born, lived and died. We enjoyed Midsland so much and West Terschelling as well. We didn't have time to visit other areas as were only there for two short days! It was a two day visit in our 12 day travel. Our two days on Terschelling were the highlight of our trip. (We really enjoyed the ferry each way as well! We got to see the sunset on our trip to the island and the sunrise on our return trip to the mainland. We would highly recommend a visit to all of the island. We hope to return!Guest review byOverman - 8.0

Beautiful beaches, offering deep water horse riding,surfing,all kinds of bootcamps. Neat clean beaches,dogs allowed. But you need a bike,you’ll drive 4,3km to Midsland where you find 2-3 shops,grocery store + nice restaurants or bars. Or you ride back to Terschelling where the ferry doks.you’ll find a beautiful bigger village:shops,bars,restaurants,hop on a boat to see Seagulls in their natural surroundings. The room was so spacious and since I had taken the love package, we received Bubbles & the bed was decorated. Although we both would have liked the bed to be decorated with real flowers instead of artificial but I also understand the decision behind it.
